I know and I like it. Let's be honest with ourselves that we would not be challenging the top end due to a lot of factors so why not make something of the backend. Can't keep going to the BBB, Schache, Billings well, otherwise we'll lose another Bedford or Jordan.

I feel for the guy as I have no doubt he is trying but confidence in himself and potentially his body is holding him back. He virtually had no preseason and we expected him to dominate from Round 1 which was never going to happen. I honestly believe the club, like Oliver, should not have played him if there were better options available as BBB and Shache aren't it.

I am still amazed that with our midfield capability and connection issues with the forwards that we don't have a midfield coach. Yes, you read that correctly.

All I want to know is that after three preseasons we still have no connection between our minds and forwards. How is that possible with all the coaching, training sessions, analytics, etc?

21 years old. FFS! Name another key forward his age we had access to averaging more than a goal game. Give the kid a break.

Not excusing the bad skills in the first half but the hard sessions leading in may have provided early fatigue until they ran it out of their system.

Officially closed. Too many confirmed and unconfirmed issues that take up too much energy and focus on the goal at hand and I'd even say the hunger full stop is not the same.

It makes so much sense to get a half forward with grunt and connect. We don't have one of those with BOTH attributes. Also, Langdon has been nothing like his pre-rib injury form, which might be the kick in the pants he needs. Anyone can run all day but you need to be damaging as well.

If the Saints pay 50% of the salary then it is a no brainer. A seasoned player who needs a fresh start could be the new Blake Acres (not playing wise but draft steal) and in a winning environment.

I did notice that Carlton always went back to go forward which gave them a little extra time to escape the contest. The other was Weitering was all by himself during the first quarter and in wet conditions the dump kick is always going to happen. Why we didn't even up the contest is beyond me. Wet footy is completely different to day. It is about gaining territory and not over handling the footy, two things we have not been able to master.
