When it comes to trades, the MFC always pays overs and frankly we are a beige underwhelming club. May is a win, still not convinced of much else. As usual the MFC shot itself straight through the head after losing those two games in Cairns. I still don’t believe we manage our salary cap or have any effing clue compared to Geelong.

Having watched Petracca develop into an elite player under Burgess, I now think Burgo should do the same with Brayshaw. Get him super fit and to the level he should be. IMHO.

The battle of the lightweights. I can see a free flowing game with lots of goals and circle work. Simon Goodwin chaired off the ground with a big rendition by the players...We Love you Simon.

It’s culture, toxic MFC culture. Brendan McCartney took Harmes under his wing and Harmes became a better player. So what does the MFC do....bring in Richardson. Can anyone tell me his value so far?

Both McDonalds trade. Go and spend the dollars on a key forward, and speed with kicking skills. finally Goodwins brand and game style does not suit the list he has recruited. Goodwin is all over the shop, apart from players, this dumb club should go after a proven coach, proven footy dept head and leadership advisor. if they can be lured, I would get Lyon, Yze, Balme and Hodge. clear out the failed ones.

Toxic damn club. Roos changed up things for a while and Jackson was terrific. Then Pert came along and it’s a total mess again. i don’t know what to say about the list anymore, It’s the toxic culture combined with poor choice of coach. The football department is a failure under Mahoney and Goodwin cannot harness talent.

We as a club just keep making the wrong decisions on and off field.

No matter the money, Goodwin has shown he cannot cut it with some of the best young players in the league. He is shown up by a coach of15 games when finals on the line. He has to go now, the club placed all their faith in him and dragged the supporters along. to lose two games in a row when everything is at stake is an appalling failure. The playing group are not buying in, otherwise it would be different. I would go for the best tried and tested coach available. Clear out Mahoney and Pert as well. the Club is the leagues worst performing team over 50 years and is toxic. Roos and Jackson have us hope, Pert and Goodwin have ripped all hope away. A total disaster after the Roos era.

Have stopped buying into this club. The leadership still ordinary, the coaching bewildering and the list has too many inconsistent types who can’t kick. Tom McDonald totally out of favour whilst on big coin. Fremantle will go past us, as have other clubs while we continue to talk it up. Goodwin has not met expectations and frankly how long? love to know the percentage of members supporters who do not trust this group from week to week.

Nathan turnover Jones FFS This club are programmed to take a sleep when they are in front. what the hell are young team mates supposed to think when they see Jones do that? Whatever his past, Jones is cooked and costing the team.

Good to see TMac out. He is on notice. I think he should be on the trade table.

I have been a premium member for decades and happily paid money to this club because I love it. This has and continues to be tested every year and frankly I have a trust problem with our ability as a club to deliver us into finals and stay there. Lots of hope, lots of talk, but we still mire in mediocrity. After decades I firmly believe the clubs greatest need is to secure and just get a home base with members facilities. Too much talk and still nothing. Pert is sitting up in Queensland with the team, why I have no idea! Surely his focus and reason for been recruited is to secure the home base and just get it done for once and forever. Our identity as a club will not be complete until this is delivered. I despair when I see other Melbourne based clubs with their own ground, own facilities and government handouts to improve already established home bases. This has gone on long enough, it is subject every season by members, players, media and so forth. FFS, Pert was brought to the club to do it. I’ve got to the stage where I don’t care where it is, just get it started. The MFC will swirl around in nowhere land until this is done. The team still is not complete and we are looking again at a wasted season for the 50th something year. If they want members to stay and be part of something, then give us this home with facilities. No finals, no premiership and no facilities. Are you there Gary Pert?

Bont did what he liked all day, not one coaches move to try and stop him. Goodwin beats up on teams at their weakest and has no answers for teams stronger than us. Dogs wanted it more, one step forward three steps back is the Melbourne way. In the 8 with all the motivation and they pee their pants again. i said it weeks ago and it still stands, THIS CLUB CANNOT BE TRUSTED! I cannot see this team this year or next or the one after making the top 4. There are other clubs developing faster below and above us, and our window of opportunity with this list will fall away. 2020-21 was meant to be our window to push hard. How the hell we still have members is beyond me. its just hopeless!,

Still do not trust this club. Ok we have Max out, clearly carries the team on his shoulders, so with that in mind, I am tipping a 38 point loss, and heads down after the game as they trudge off feeling sorry for themselves. Apologies to Tracc and Clarry. we are a club yet to achieve anything!

Why is he called Nibbler? He is at best depth, I have not seen him take his chance every time he has been given the opportunity. He might be fit but that’s about it. Has been on the list a long time and cannot see any improvement.

Salem is one of the best we have for foot disposal, however his recent efforts have been very ordinary. I despair at his turnovers and dinky little kicks. Are we wasting him in the backline?

Decided not to watch this one. Football life sucked out of me by a club who never can be trusted. They will lose and club back in crisis again looking for a new coach.

Mahoney has been at the club for a very long time. What has he actually achieved as boss of the footy dept? Headhunt the best footy dept boss going around to shake this joint into winning games.

This club needs to own the fact they are B grade pretenders who rip the soul out of people who support them. Careers and coaches now must be held accountable. Sackings please enough is enough

I am over Goodwin as a coach. Enough is enough.

Good teams kick those clutch goals. Weid has to take his chances. Brayshaw on the cusp of getting dropped. He is a shell if his true ability.

Angus is far off his ability ATM. His kicking skills are awful and erratic. Not sure what’s wrong with him but he seems way off the pace
