As a 30 year plus member of this club I am astounded at the reaction to the Watts trade. What a sad situation under the circumstances that has caused such division amongst supporters. Watts is a terrric young bloke, he was poorly treated during the Neeld era where the club behaved very badly. Since then Watts has been part of a club resurrection and he has played a number of very good games. I wish many would be honest with themselves about Watts. In 9 years he has not even come close to AA, he has underperformed for a major part of his career so far. Watts has been given many many chances over the past 4 years to live up to his potential. I remind everyone that Max Gawn stepped up, and Oliver decided to do what is required and as result won a bluey. Watts has never had that intensity to reach his full potential. I like the guy, I am sad he is no longer at the club, however I have had a gutful of supporters who seem to be satisfied holding onto a player who regularly underperforms and does not display the urgency that this club needs. the club may have handled this better! In my opinion many supporters need to grow up! Many look like they are happy with mediocrity. The club is heading in the right direction better than at any time during the past 10 years. Maybe many supporters need to harden up if they are in sync with the new MFC.

I watched it 23 times, and he said the same thing 23 times! Pfffft, life as a MFC supporter. Actions speak louder than words, let's see in 2018 hey!

Your spot on with the club reconnecting with members! Not a word from anyone but Jones about the putrid finish to the season. Many many members I've spoken with are just too fatigued with this club at the moment. Jackson and others need better engagement with those who part with their hard earned to keep this club going. It feels like the club just takes it for granted paying members will just throw their money at the club every year. Very sour taste at this time.

Too often this club just does not cut the mustard! We shot ourselves in both feet. Everyone knows the deficiencies, now is the time to fix those for once and all. It has to burn inside their guts everyday until the last round of 2018. This epic fail must mean something finally for this club who are mired with failure! Off to put my mind on anything but football, don't give a naff about finals and won't watch.

The Melbourne Football Club continue to fail its supporters year in year out! Anyone who cares to argue the toss has lived under a rock and is in denial.

My question is, how many light bulb moments does one team need? They can faaark off for mine! I'm seething with anger at this club. Another whole pre season and hard work ahead with the usual platitudes to get us members to re- sign. Stuff them and their lame efforts!

As I get close to pulling the plug on a day full of hope, I remember a kid from school days who had a never say die attitude to life. He went on to play for the The mighty demons and never ever gave up. His name Robbie Flower. Today the MFC again filled its supporters with hope for the millionth time, and again this club failed the test and crawled to the line with a whimper. There is something wrong with this club, they never seem to get past junior grade exams. There is a rot of mental blockage and toughness worse than most clubs in the past 20 years. They just cannot pass their senior exams. The club are the worst repeat offenders for failing the test at the final hurdle. we will see the same nonsense platitudes from the usual suspects at the club. It means nothing anymore. Today whatever hope existed is gone..the players had their chance and they blew it up in our collective faces.

Goody mentions bad habits......no shyte Sherlock! this club are Olympic Gold medalists with bad habits. We are officially the most untrustworthy football club in the AFL. Essendon have more knackers than our lot.

Spot on! Supporters continue to hold our end up. I Do not blame any supporter today for wanting to vent! The players don't want it enough, they are not invested as much as the supporters. That's the plain truth of it all.

Well well well! The predictable nature of this club once again abandoned its supporter base who continue to stick fat every year. personally I'm not that surprised and just sat there after quarter time knowing the result. Too many passengers remain on the list, too many do not have the toughness of a Sydney team to succeed. Not sure how this ever gets resolved. Today was an opportunity for this club to put the foot on the throats of a lesser team, they did the complete opposite. If by a freak of nature they survive to play finals, they don't deserve to be there. This club from Chairman down cannot be trusted to get the job done when it's most needed. I don't trust this club nor the team and will not trust it until they prove otherwise. Putrid effort by team and coaches today! Message for Jacko and Co, want trust from membership? Want us to hope?, want us to dream? Want membership to increase? Win games that are we expect you to win! I want to trust this mob, just cannot.....they faaaaark it up too often.

Again today we got savaged by umpiring decisions. Trying to be objective but it's hard when Chamberlain pulls out some total [censored] head clangers. Noticed a screaming mad dog saints supporter losing his last 3 hairs...one Francis Leach!!! Made my day!

Yes I agree very much! This weekly comment that we are a young team tiring is just garbage. We have the same level of fitness and fatigue as all sides. These are pathetic excuses and frankly sick of hearing it. We are in the mix and need to make a stand. Don't give me young side and tired rubbish...give me what is expected and that is a finals appearance after 10 years of putrid football.

1. Play sides in NT we have a chance of winning against. For example, not playing against him interstate teams. I want to see us play another Melbourne based team in NT. 2. More Friday night games 3. No games in Tasmania for 2018 Finally, this putrid record against North Melbourne (which may cost us a finals spot this year) MUST stop! any self respecting sporting club that allows itself to be beaten 17 times in a row by the same opposite team is weak. If it becomes 18 in a row, we stand for stuff all as a club.

Cannot ever trust this club! More than disgusting! Putrid and frankly have had a gutful. weak minded players beaten by a team who teach us what mental strength is. YOU ARE WEAK MFC....effing WEAK!

That idiot Treadway from Adelaide on MMM gave his votes to 2 PA players and Hibberd. Did not even rate Clarry! One of the true dumb brainless airhead to come out of Adelaide.

We have at the moment a potential 200 game very good player in number 29. This guy is fantastic to watch and very competitive. If he can lower his eyes, improve his kicking, he will go from very good player to AFL elite! Hope our coaches develop this side of his game and he will be a complete player.

Frankly as a paid up member, I have had enough of Bernies stupidity! He is costing the team at a time when we are vulnerable of falling outside the 8. We waited long enough for this. Grab a brain Bernie you goose!

Some of us think the NT thing is garbage. Better ways to raise a million bucks.

Giving top side a 5 goal start ...might as well forget it after that. we are a slow starting team and it must be fixed. We need a better spine!! Our talls are all arms and legs...no brains a very forgettable game to watch. Must win next week, or on the way out the back door.
