Sure, but the pretend chef has a contract in place, and our new coach says he wants him to play for MFC in 2026. Seems straightforward to me. Last year I defended the pretend chef regularly on the basis that he seemed to want change (which was necessary imo) and basically off the back of that almost everything has been changed - presumably not the changes he was wanting so we find ourselves dealing with another tantrum this off season.

Until proven otherwise I'm working on the basis that A preliminary agreement with BH was agreed to join the MFC before, The MFC sanctioned Petracca looking around and landing on Gold Coast - there was no talk of a big Melbourne club this time and clearly, he was never really serious about Adelaide. The fact his manager wife seems to like their shack in Noosa means Gold Coast was always the likely landing spot. Melbourne needs to stick to their guns - no Bailey Humphrey no Trac If that happens Dimma is basically saying that Trac is not as highly valued as Humphrey - that's going to be an awfully awkward conversation if it comes to that. Humphrey is a young player with loads of upside but if Dimma really wants a premiership in the next 2/3 years I'd be confident it is more certain with Trac in their team rather than Humphrey. It really doesn't make sense for Dimma to want both because they play very similar roles.

Assuming we retain a pick in the 20's I quite like the look of Riley Onley - tall midfielder and is fairly quick and decent skills. Moves a bit like our own Harvey Langford although a right footer and dare I say it also moves a bit like Paddy Dangerfield 😀 riley onley highlights - Search

Living in Sydney I get to a few Giants games and my view on Aleer is that he (currently) is no world beater, but he does do some things well and has upside potential. What he does do well is spoil when free to run and jump at the ball, he is also pretty decent marking the ball when not wrestling with an opponent. His disposal is generally ok and he is quite quick. Personally, I'd be selecting him in our D50 before Adams who seems to have some friends in the FD but I'm far from convinced at this stage.

I am hoping that if his answer is no then the same message is instantly conveyed to our pretend chef
