Jamar taps the ball directly to the opposition midfielder who does not get effectively tackled, and kicks it to his forwards. If any of our players get it they hand pass it around until they turn it over or kick it to a contest which we lose. When the ball is in our forward line we do not get into space. When it is in the opposition's possession we do not man up. That's the way the game plan looks to an observer. It seems to be a combination of baileys hand passing and run and carry style and a scared rabbit indecision style. Neeld's style is being largely ignored. Also, Jamar is scared to kick the ball and always hand passes. This is football. He should practice his kicking.

I disagree. The problem is markedly exacerbated by psychological factors. How do you explain the massive loss to a team we beat last year? The administrators were not out on the ground. Yes it's a culture problem but that is psychological. How do you explain west coast being bottom of ladder one year then in top 4 the next? Psychological factors. Self belief, etc

Jack watts is a psychological mess caused by the media and the booing idiots. Many of these on Saturday were essendon fans around our player's race. We need a big crush of positive supporters around the race next game to stop the idiots who boo from doing it. The young boys need to get back to enjoying the game and feeling good about themselves. Making them feel bad about themselves will make them more psychologically screwed up, go into their shells and mess up the game play even more. Much if the game is played "above the shoulders". Psychology is very important.

I have been to almost all MCG Demons games for the past 13 years (and many before that). I've supported them for 54 years. The problem is with a weak Board not prepared to sack Schwab and Connolly when it was revealed they cheated by asking players to lose games, poor recruiting, poor culture due to the poor leadership at the top and due to players having no confidence in an administration that tells them to cheat/lose. There is currently no midfield apart from N Jones who is not big enough to muscle his way through packs despite trying to do this at every stoppage and centre bounce. The player development has been woeful. The current coach is unfortunately not up to the task. We have lost Moloney, Rivers, Petterd and Gysberts. They will most likely flourish at their new clubs. Some already are. The current situation is reminiscent of the period from 1965-1985 when we failed to make finals, had many years on the bottom of the ladder, tried multiple coaches and recruited badly. It all started with a weak Board who sacked the best AFL coach ever. But that story has been done to death. I can't see a reason to go to the MCG for the next few months.

The weird game style is leaving all opposition players unmarked and on their own in their forward zone and allowing ALL of our forwards to be tagged in our own forward zone. Also almost none of our players get out into open space. Every kick is to a contest.

Northey inherited Barassi's legacy. He wasn't so great. Neale Balme was a great coach, sacked before he had a chance to show his true potential.

Many MCC members don't join because they get into the MCG games with the MCC membership. It's not cheap! We always lose at Docklands and you can buy a ticket on the day for less than the price of a membership. I'm sick and tired of the media referring to NFC as a smaller club. We have lots of supporters who aren't members because of the MCC members.

More injuries coming up. NAB is the injury cup. Players half trying and on poor surfaces in wrong weather.
