How many seasons of " chances to succeed" do you think Weid deserves? WS it prior to 2020 he said he was going to make his big move and become the main man up forward? Was it 2018 he had a good finals game with 3(?) marks? TMac is surely cooked ..he's gone this Christmas like the turkey , but Weid can wait his turn for the future . We've been waiting long enough. One last season for Tom..he could still kick 30 and upset a few packs in the process

Weid will get yet another chance when someone is injured or Tom loses the plot . Otherwise there is no reason to play him in best 22.

Yeah as I have said, here and on the old Ology ,Weid leads well and can kick it too. If you can't catch it under pressure and you have had years and years of time to establish a place in the mix then you are either just depth ,waiting for someone to retire or a list clogger. How long did they pick Weid at the expense of BBB before he got a chance and took it? The" give him a chance" argument is laughably back to front

I dont imagine farms for ex football players are usually about making a living wage. They do it just because that's what their mates all do...and good luck to them I say. I don't criticise BT for being on a good wicket. It's just that he's a terrible caller and surely someone/anyone else could do better. They all have a use by date ,we naturally get tired of them; it's just he never should have had a start date

YeH I was wrong Weid held 3 (rather than 1) marks but of course didn't like j a goal. He now averages 2 a game though, so maybe that will keep him in the team! TMac is in an awful space but is still miles ahead of Weid.... for now. He's probably cooked and the clo k is ticking but they could try Van Rooyan first if possible ..One would hope anyway. Weid equals depth Weeds are what you keep around the edges until you plant something that will flower

I went through the game to listen to BT talking from the cheat sheet he must bring to games to try and match to what he thinks is happening and the waited for Daisy to gently correct him a little later so as not to embarrass him too much more than he does to himself. As long as the backs are unsettled ( no Salem or Lever) TMac stays. But he looks to be on his last legs ( actually it's written on his face) But Weideman? It's not April first yet!! You can't be serious, he leads well and kicks it ok as well but you have to catch the ball ;it's part of being a forward. His body on body work in a pack makes Wattsy look like a brute and if someone is even looking at him he gets the fumbles

No it doesn't , you can count the times she waits for about a minute then points out why BThas just said something completely incorrect ,showing he's learnt nothing about the game since he retired. It was the second best bit of the grand final. It's like pencilling in the goal kickers in the footy record

I was obviously being flippant re Neita but don't dispute TMacs importance. You havnt noticed I say I hope to see a full season from him. At present we can carry Weid...or...we have to carry Weid

No you missed my point Tom's form dropped off dramatically just when he was being touted as AA full back.. it was later he was moved forward . Possibly not even the same year. For a time I thought he was better than the 2nd forward he was being called. He could clunk marks in a pack without having to leap In following years he has carried foot and leg injuries and as a result has a history of not being able to complete a season at his best. There does seem to be a confidence issue as well and you can often read it on his face. I think his best is way way better than anything Weid has shown and hope he gets a full year in the team before the younger Weid finally catches a few and kick some goals ....in 2023

Which is why I wrote about a " full season" ..that's been his problem since he was headed for AA Full back back in the 90's(?) Then his form suddenly collapsed until they had to move him forward..... and the pattern continues.
