  1. If a club trades its F1 it must hold a pick in all other future rounds but it doesn't matter whose they are. If it trades in an F1 to replace its own it can trade out of F2, F3, F4 etc. entirely.
  2. If my hunch that Freo won't make the top 8 next year is correct, there may not be a lot of difference between NM F2 and Freo F2.
  3. I see what you mean. Another world. Nice landscapes.
  4. And I thought I was in trouble!
  5. Not intended. Just don't remember going there or seeing signposts in my travels.
  6. Where is Romsey?
  7. I would love to know what you edited...🙃
  8. Hate to tell you this but Cranbourne is close to the worst suburb on the east/south/south east of Melbourne. Where on earth do you live that Cranbourne looks 'good'? I know it is 'west' but...
  9. Great football. Good % boost.
  10. We may not have much choice. fwiw I think Freo will not make the 8 next year so their F! could well be a top 10 pick. If we get their F1 I hope we keep it.
  11. My heart sank when I saw that... Have they dropped their offer or are you referring to the one in this later post? I would settle for that and give them our F2 and or F3 back since we typically don't take picks >40 to the draft.
  12. He will want to go to Geelong!
  13. Clue, please?
  14. Can't see how they get JHF without WCE pick 2 involved. For them to expect to get him and Junior Rioli for pick 8 and a F1 is a joke I would have thought they are ok for pick 2 but not with Rioli included. They need to put up something/someone else I don't blame them. They owe Rioli nothing. If they are giving him away for free in the Port trade of pick 8 and a F1 for Rioli and Pick 2 then let him go to the psd. They will have lost nothing. It is one time where the losing club doesn't miss out on anything.
  15. It should be F1 but it won't be.
  16. Has it officially changed?
  17. If so I hope they told Bowes that before he nominated them. I would guess it is 4 years at say $550-$600. Geelong get pick 7, get the player but spread the $$ for little sal cap hit. Not what was implied in GCS offer.
  18. That is because QB will be our Home game.
  19. Where is 'goodwindees' when you need him!🙂
  20. Players with a few years to run on their contracts: TMc, Brown who struggle to get on the park for chunks of the year; Tomlinson, Hibberd and Melksham are depth. I don't really have a problem with keeping them but if we don't bring in more experience that can play each week then we are relying on kids to replace them. But as they say: the night is still young! Trade week has a way to go.
  21. I think we already knew that Geelong and Richmond had swapped picks for Geelong to get one spot ahead of us. It would have been pre-planned by them and we either knew before we went into draft night or were alerted to it in the minutes before the pick swap happened. Then it was the next best two: Bowey and Laurie.
  22. Is that a realistic expectation? It can come unstuck so easily.
  23. So that is two years with only two additions of experience to our list: Dunstan and Grundy. By the look of it to win the 2023 premiership we are relying on Grundy less Jackson and some 2021 and 2022 draftees who have yet to play a game. I was hoping we would start to fill that 23=25 yo gap in our list profile and turnover some of the more expensive but no longer likely best 22 players.
  24. Any targets that we have been seriously linked to or is Grundy it?
  25. Good point! But really don't like that sort of 'sweetner'.
