  1. Just a point on us. All of you people on this site are reasons why a player and person of his calibre wants to stay here. This is on top and additional to the biggest component reason why he would stay. There is no other Club like this club for all the peace of mind and high standards of a club where companionship and safety are paramount.
  2. Goody will be one of the main reasons Kos signs.
  3. I think there is more frustration than timidity. To even use timidity in Trac's space is an insult and I would consider what he does every week. Who he hits, pushes aside and beats one on one..
  4. I can remember standing in the mud at Morabbin watching some bloke in long sleeves bouncing the ball with left and right hand as nonchalant as you like, being chased by three big Collingwood [censored], and blind turning them to a perfect delivery. This is his calibre of a player, and I also think of a man.
  5. Daicos got caught holding the ball thinking that he's better than what he is, twice. Also his brother knows that little joshie thinks he is.
  6. He is already and mentor to boot.
  7. O for this aggression in every game...
  8. I've seen the three best players to pull on boots in the last seventy years Baldock, Jesaulenko and Flower and he is better than all of them Just bearing in mind he is actually playing in todays conditions.
  9. Asap plus ....
  10. And did Jordan answer the obvious reason why there is a build up to non composure. It's not just two balmy decisions in the heat. It's crucial, terribly costly abhorrent mistakes, deliberately by poor umpires. Every week key players are baffled by ordinary incorrect decisions. Whether it be the inconsistency of key players pushing in the back, by the strength of the push, or key players going down after a touch amongst several touches.
  11. If the public knew what the umpires were told in relation to their interpretation of the rules, I think they would be amazed. I actually it, the interpretation, changes regularly on a week to week basis. I also believe the AFL bosses are telling ng umpires, via an advisory group what to do. This means they are out of control with playing by the rules. In relation to us, I also believe that the players at MFC adhere to the rules more closely than sixteen other clubs, maybe less than two at most.
  12. Both the Brothers along with The Coach of C have been to the umpires and their AFL boss in a one on one and it's worked especially about diving on the player with the ball on the ground, and the pushing in the back, doing shifty stuff on and around the mark, and also playing on to advantage.
  13. I personally think that the way the umpiring pans out, there has to be collaboration of some scale. That means there has to be discussion. If there is discussion there has to be a record. That's where we are at.
  14. If ever there's a player in an AFL JUMPER that's got a right to complain to an umpire it's K Pickett....
  15. Your summary is pretty close, but can you honestly say that we got a fair shake today, The frees were crucial and constant and I ain't blind. Those blokes in yellow know when and where they are giving them, and they are specifically engineered at crucial run on stages.
  16. If the same effort is served for the rest of the year IN EVERY GAME, we play finals.
  17. Wouldn't touch this with a shoulder the size of Tarzan's. They would be just waiting for someone like Kos to hit anyone above their hip area and he would get four was.
  18. I thought the umpiring wasn't out of character for all except one of our VFL games so far this year.
  19. After Tassie crashed they have dropped their bundle. Commissioners will be busy unhooking their hollies to Europe
  20. I knew at 25 it was time. Everything was hard enough then, including the abuse and the rewards. So I retired upon my choice and a future family.
  21. MRO What a bunch of disgusting human beings.Oliver went down on the ground and nothing happens every week. Kozzie got physically jumped on AND MAULED SAVAGELY by three St kilda heroes at the same time. Nothing happens. In my opinion most of the force from Johnson' s shoulder bypassed NWM and more than likely hit the Melbourne bloke.
  22. That's legless
  23. Which he's probably gonna do anyway because he knows the maggots are going to turn a blind eye to anyway. Thay are responsible for several cases this year of kids being pushed in the back, kneed in the back, and other dirty acts going unnoticed and causing injured players to stay on the ground. Let's hope not, or maybe it should lead to class actions in the future. Disgruntled old player of the game, who remembers some injures.
  24. Kossie copped more in that game than NWM copped in the one incident. Never gets picked up OK for St Kilda to play the man but never us. Maybe Johnson thought that Kossie deserved a bit of a hand for a change.
