I think that most of what I have said this year has proven pretty right about our two best players.But I have been known to put curses on people.

Sounds to me like NOBODY from our team is talking to the MAGGOT MEDIA as distinct from MAGOOT UMPIRES at all. And they have spat the dummy.

Is there a family connection here to a past player, not at MFC, Richmond I think, or Ess.

The only thing,apart from a couple of hidden ranches, that he could bring from Geelong is two distinctive pairs of goal kicking boots.

Does anyone know how Buckley's approach to coaching was couched and delivered? Did it rely heavily on statistics and planning or concentrated bombardment with speed and pressure. I never heard his coaching techniques, so I would be interested in how he tackled it on his first effort?

Well he was a very good player, sound tactician, and a pretty humble sort of a bloke. Don't know him personally, and I generally don't agree with knocking down tall poppies. I know you aren't doing that. I would have liked to see what Buckley offered, but I'm all for the new guy now and we move on.

The particular way he is around the players is quite intriguing after a win or loss. He just looks sneaky.

I would take that even further and plaster it over the whole sports media that the selection of our future Coach was interfered with, that Club and Board felt as though they were being intimidated against, and undue personal pressure was placed on candidates.

Has anyone on the AFL thought about what stability Buckley might want by staying with his family/friends in Melbourne? Resettling everyone he is close to and away from people he knows.
