  1. Same thing SWYL, to not have that feeling that at least one team deserved to be there. By the way Collingwood not there next year will mean of course that Carlton will, as pre determined by the AFL cheats. Anyone happen to notice that the two tacklers in the GWS game both involved unfair tackles by the Daicos mob. Were they singled out to be given special "carte blanche" in their tackles, and they wouldn't be reported?
  2. We will be playing Carlton first Game next year ask Goyder
  3. Lynch hasn't been hungry since he walked into two flags with tiges....
  4. Yes the game has been left in good shape McLaughlin.....
  5. The only best non injured twenty two player that didn't play, and i'm being liberal with the number.
  6. While Kozzie, not being the only one, deserves his talk from the coach, is there anyone on this Forum who knows what he has to put up with? I reckon the answer is no.
  7. One more fair and honest free kick or Goal (or both) paid per game this season, (and we are the only team that could say that because we were that close, if not ahead, in most games) and we wouldn't have had to have played this week gone. We would have been resting for the preliminary, and it wouldn't matter who we played or where... That's how bloody bad those b's were this year. and we all know it, but we just cannot accept it. Fancy having to say that the people in charge of a Code are cheats. Fancy having to say that the Media as a whole are so parochially scared to a person that they are too petrified to say what they know about firstly, betting on games, betting on BL's, and Teams that don't talk to them to get scoops or inside information because it will be twisted around. What a pathetic, sorry, malignant state of affairs this AFL Board are running. The big question this year is how much of OUR MONEY this bloke walks away with. Will anyone know and will it be bigger than Qantas. We have similar Board Members, don't we//
  8. Not disagreeing with the statistic, but would hasten to add Oliver is probably the highest possession winner so he makes more errors with more possessions and Max gets the least kicks so his kicks stand out more in his total possessions. Viney, well he would be under the most inside ball pressure all the time. Quite a good kick for goal though Only other thing is what is the definition of WORST>
  9. Hey Jnr, did we look the most stereotyped side from Fullback in the AFL or not?
  10. Go along with your insight and just want to add a little about our back up. We have back up and i think it is more about our integration of the back up, like what stage to bring in and where and when, including maybe a slight propensity for not handling conditions and again like Grundy would have won us that game Against both Carlton and Collingwood just with his physicality. Grundy by the way had several times this year exhibited his mix it ability and i think its been a glaring mistake not to have included him in the Finals. Question........Would Grundy get more free kicks and take more marks than what Max could get, and therefore present more of an asset? We should hang on to him because we bloody well need him......
  11. And that is just touching the surface. This bias was brought on full display from the first game this year and those umpires have a sacred duty to be fair , but they have let their vocation down, They are well paid and for them to be caught on screen smirking and smiling after bogus decisions and confusing free kicks made, and then talking to another maggot like Maynard after what he had done and i don't accept his appearance of contrition in any shape or form. It wouldn't have been allowed to proceed in Ireland after a game. He would have been removed from my house one way or the other. With less than two minutes to go in Friday's game Carlton had resigned themselves to losing that and you could see the look on the coach's and the players faces until some maggots introduced dirty low unforgiveable extremes where they dictated what was going to happen. They know who they are as well.
  12. One other thing. This year we all, other than blind people, know that the Club has a problem with Umpires except one, Razor. I have always believed the way to face this, and for that matter other situations, is head on, please excuse the pun, so i would offer a suggestion that the Club do some homework over summer to relay our position in confidence to the Umpires, who, i think, should, would, have to meet us with our filmed incidents and get this bloody nuisance of a thing sorted. Everything on the table, including preconceived opinions and player and umpire attitudes alike. etc etc.
  13. This is a top summary. I will add one more thing , and that is a discussion as to who our Captain and Vice is going forward before we leave it too late.
  14. The Media engineered the exposure of the HIT to make sure that the dumbing down of public opinion was soundly asleep for most of the time. There are several ways the AFL could be dragged into fixing their mess. Conversely MFC could fix it for them. Bear in mind, The AFL cannot do without US.
  15. Initially i thought to close the thread would be the action to take my now i"m thinking more along the lines of post here if you want to but most people will want to concentrate on the game. Otherwise it should stay available out of respect for those might have the wish to enquire about our players and also would like to remind the rest about what happened and aspects of development of this issue when this is over.
  16. Eddie has made us all ashamed a long time ago with his Sydney antics, and it looks like it is a bit of a struggle..
  17. I'll name you plenty, they would have wimped the kick. He didn't wimp anything for anybody.
  18. Question for the witness to the accident:- "did the individual NOT go straight up enough to have been under some sort of direction, witness"
  19. I have a feeling that was the second clearance that Brayshaw successfully had from the centre. So we could assume that Maynard was placed by the Coach where he was to pick Brayshaw uo coming out of the middle. The rest is history. Maynard actually came off the ground after that as well, didn't he.
  20. You know AZK that the intent was to have contact and damage after the kick got past the person trying to "smother" With that intent the intender sought out where most of the opposing body part was. That being the shoulder/head area result ......Brayshaw unconscious.
  21. There is one thing that would really have the AFL thinking. That is withdrawal of services just before the bounce of Friday Nights Game by the players, citing that their safety cannot be guaranteed....etc etc etc
  22. Get well Team Member, thinking of how bravely you played this year. I won't forget. I have never met you, but i laughed when you laughed and when you were interviewed you said what you thought.
