You are giving an excuse of just about a whole years stuff ups by umpires You cannot change rule interpretation on a week to week basis just to appease crowds,players or AFL ratbags including media. OR obviously results. If you can then there is something much more serious going on here...

It doesn't have to be a conspiracy to be openly cheating. Where the conspiracy is planted, is before the start of the season. Where idle talk on players fairness is discussed along with perhaps favourite players and Clubs, or even interpretation of new/old /hard rules. What's the average number of trips per game, not picked up. Would it be ten or twenty? Anyone know? Now that we allow pushing and pushing into head contact, holding the ball while pirouetting, pushing players into the fence while outside the boundary, I reckon it's all good with that result.
