In total agreement and had to be said. Copped a pretty serious injury playing his game, that no one should have to, and could have called it quits. However he played on. If you have changed Clubs after some years yourself you have many life long friends that just melt away, and your whole life changes.

Not just the media. I also include the umpires in that context as well. It's not as if, by sheer coincidence the umpires and the Media have copped a year that they would want to put right out of their minds. With instances of charges being laid and public spats between long time companions of the sport swearing, threatening and castigating each other quite regularly. The bottom line is they have had a very bad year, whether it be with recurring discrimination, racism or obfuscation.
