  1. One trick ponies do develop into two and three trick ponies like Howe.
  2. All things pass.
  3. It's pretty bloody obvious, isn't it . We live in a racist country that's been like that for ages and New Zealand not so much. This is what we are being re-educated to believe and to live alongside from Murdoch's FOX to 3AW's drivel. There are so many people here that are on the verge of just giving up and emigrating anywhere....
  4. I would like to think that under PM Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand is improving as a destination of preference for a lot of people from other places around the world. I have heard it mentioned internationally as a peaceful place, especially since what happened and the way it was handled. Not so much Australia any more......i have been there and i know the history, especially J Cook.
  5. The MFC Team is the "wild child" you had before you got married that you could never get/want to leave the Home after forty three years...... so far.
  6. We are looking for a goal kicking Full Forward and a "Dangerous" on baller otherwise feck off
  7. You would think North would have looked and looked and looked some more..
  8. Here we go again......
  9. ...any comments the Club would/should like to make so we can all get on with the business, and appoint a new Board, pay a million bucks and fly to Geneva for a holiday.
  10. Would third last be it......
  11. So many players loved kicking goals against us, we couldn't just sign up all of them.......
  12. I think there is a lot of quiet acknowledgement among a lot of old players that Robbie was poetry in motion on the field. That includes old commentators still alive and other pundits........... His deeds were one thing but his balance could be a little better than Jesaulenko and Baldock in just one player. I really don't think we should be scared to say he was just simply incomparable.....
  13. What about a fidgety fit Fritsch
  14. "Young and Jacksons" have a truckload of my money on them already........
  15. ....and five "Hail Marys" and two "Our Fathers"
  16. As a supporter Jessie disappointed me with his attitude, in which i probably saw a lot of myself, with all sports and work ethics. But i would be negligent if, having seen what does happen in life, without favour, i cannot feel sorry for a sooky money waster if that is what he is......and i do not want people to feel sorry for me because i never had a father............
  17. 12 months from now............Heavens 2/1 is a bit rough for the 2020 Flag.......i suppose as Old Dee says we will have to try for another CHF seeing as we have our first pick at 21.....ZZZzzz
  18. Groom him for Captain or build a bloody wall on the South Australian border
  19. It was his penchant for throwing around cultural utensils that almost got him in trouble, though
  20. You should be ashamed of yourself on Sunday DC.....
  21. A good player obviously wants to come to MFC and some Cat maggot starts trouble here....is that right?
  22. Sure, and Max Gawn has never had a fleeting thought about what it would have been like to have had Dangerfield in "that " place.
  23. I would like to see how Cornes and Harmes stack up at the same age. I reckon Harmes would be ahead on games and value. Blokes don't get put on the backline to think, but to see and get......No footballer alive would say he wasn't lucky whilst playing either.
