WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Willmoy1947 replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
One of the obvious questions for me would be is there another comparison in sporting circles where the AFL's delicate,if not shaky, judicial system/ legal minefield would be worth a look at by them with a view to some sort of Ethical resolution. -

Thanks to those who genuinely took the time to enlighten, albeit somewhat rudimentally sometimes..... -

Wondering when we were going to mention Melksham on his thread..... -

These blokes will both bring lots of information too as well as experience, even while they were out i would expect. -

That 'll get a bite. on another tack,i can remember going up to that bloody bog hole in the sixties standing in the members and the rain(not under cover then) and abusing sheet out of anything TWSNBN wearing a South footy jumper over or under my Dee one and having a wonderful day. They were nothing then and they're nothing now. -

After yesterday's game it's not beyond me to think we might have more picks than we know what to do with, very disappointed. -

I'm thinking there has to be "some semblance" of genuine effort. And we must not forget the "relics" of player managers are money grabbing scumbags within a greedy rampant industry that make up the rules as they go. They would also be in the close social contact framework of the AFL and Players union (no dispersion on real unions) sorry lapdogs. So it would be all about appearances. -

This is the sort of garbage that gets circulated before an important game to put a young playing group off their game. Wouldn't put anything past these bathtubs from Car or Ess -

What about Hibberd for an unwanted member of our health & fitness staff. -

Obviously one of the hard nut players out there because he along with Melksham has made one of the hardest decisions. -
Big trap here, no matter what any medical says. We're not losing any "once in a million forwards" for it either

Mark Basics [edit: resurrected from 2013]
Willmoy1947 replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Dunstall was right in the criticism but I can remember him often being quite unwilling to waddle. out of the goal square, or only to make a lead. I always see our blokes trying to create play, no problems there, only to be thwarted by delivery just short of the mark this year, -
Seems to be able to find space inside 50, just that we haven't got the talent to get it to him sufficiently yet. And his set shot under pressure is as good as Jack's, I think

AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!

These umps last night apparently were the cream of the crop, so what was going on.They went a bit slack on deliberate outs too.Sydney were given a raw deal last night as well by the umpires. And from now on because "Frees" statistics lie and cloud the issue of who gets a good run and who doesn't, i'm going to be like the rest of the media and ignore them. -

If he's got a bit of mongrel about him the bears should have put him in the ruck against Watts! -

Wasn't this the bloke who was being touted as one of our more favored Draft Picks by some on this forum in the 2015 National draft. Obviously we all knew nothing about him then, but....... -
Boyd and Patton both Backline Players. Don't like attention. Stands out like dogs.

His body language going for marks this season has stepped up in confidence and intensity..

Just a slight permeation of AFL bespoke "umps if Brissie are close enough for a sniff at any stage in the game give them a little fillip" yesterday. They weren't!!! Can imagine "The Girlie Man" talk at AFL Headquarters this morning. "Blah Blah Blah but they weren't even close enough anyway". -
On a more sour note I'm thinking that there is a lot more water to go under the bridge with Hogan, and his overall value to MFC, and it is all about joining the dots. I have no inside information other than just the way things are proceeding.

The unrepresented percentage stated would NOT prefer that you said nothing. I for one appreciate most people's points of view.
