  1. We all support the Club. One of the problems at Melbourne over the years is members blindly supporting coaches & administrations that didn't have a clue about what they were doing. And to suggest Dunn should be delisted because he made a mistake & kicked a "barrell" is not very rational. He seems to have no trouble following Buckley's instructions.
  2. Christian is not up to the job
  3. Have another look at the replay - great fist half but his second half was woeful, slipped, fell over, missed tackles, overan the ball & was generally a liability.
  4. The Dunn decision should remind wide eyed supporters that coaches and Clubs often make wrong and stupid decisions. Why on earth he was dropped in 2016 to make way for Oscar McD remains one of the great mysteries along with: Darren Jolly being dropped for the finals Richmond trading out Graham Teasdale & St Kilda trading Ian Stewart Barassi wanting to drop Malcolm Blight after the drawn Grand Final Melbourne declining to sign Doug Wade after he did pre season training with us.
  5. He is quick enough - not in the Garlett league but quicker than anyone else in our forward line. Dunno where the myth about him being slow started but he is definitely not slow. Anyway its about quickness of hands & decision making & reading the play as much as about leg speed. Some players don't mature until they are 23/24 - lets hope JKH is one of them.

We won't know if Pert's any good until after he's been in the job a while: I thought Ray Ellis was going to be good I thought Schwab was going to be good I thought MacNamee was going to be good I thought Harris was going to be good Etc Etc Etc
  7. AFL Pre-Season Draft held at the end of Season 2009 2009 AFL Pre-Season Draft Summary Round Pick Drafted By Player Current Team Games Since Drafted 1 1 Melbourne Joel Macdonald 44 1 2 Richmond Dylan Grimes Richmond 104 1 3 Fremantle Adam McPhee 56 1 4 Sydney Daniel Bradshaw 9 1 5 West Coast Ryan Neates 1 1 6 Port Adelaide Scott Harding 2 1 7 Essendon Kyle Hardingham
  8. Mate I don't think you have a clue. Grimes is 26 with over 100 games up. Played 25 games this year. Flag winner & 5th in the Tigers B&F in a Premiership year. Plays on talls or shorts & is the first picked in their defence after Rance. Tough, smart & determined - coaches love him & supporters love him.
  9. And here's me thinking that the whole point of football was to win premierships. Obviously the Richmond coaches think Grimes skill are adequate for the job but you obviously know better.
  10. Might have been reliable & dedicated but still a poor selection by the Club IMHO. He was courageous but not overly quick & had very average skills. Basically a Casey level player useful as a backup. To add further insult we picked him in the 09 pre season draft ahead of Dylan Grimes.
  11. Jackson's most important job now is to make sure that whenever he decides to leave his replacement is as good as he is.
  12. Ridiculous comment contrary to all the evidence we have seen. First of all JT was not underperforming - he was injured so it doesn't lay the law down to anyone. Plus Richmond would not have bothered with a medical if the deal was a sham & both Trengove & Roos have indicated in interviews that the deal would have gone ahead.
  13. Just logged on here to look at some some footy & it seems its a private site for a few mates - seriously can't you people maybe just email each other instead of clogging the site up with personal chit chat.
