2018 Player Reviews: # 38 Tim Smith
Can't believe they let Pedersen go & kept this bloke. Pedo is way better.

2018 Player Reviews: # 30 Alex Neal-Bullen
Love his endeavour & tenacity. Really a mid fielder masquerading as a forward. I doubt that he has the leg speed or skills to be a long term forward option so he needs to cent a spot as an onballer. Reminds me of Stephen Newport or Simon Godfrey.

2018 Player Reviews: # 32 Tomas Bugg
Treated poorly by the Brains Trust. The Lynden Dunn of 2018. Dropped early on then unlike JKH, Garlett & others never given a second opportunity. Could have been tried as a tagger, defender or wing. Unlucky for mine & a better player than some still at the Club.

A totally beige player. Usually reasonable performer but really needs to step up if he wants to have a career at Melbourne. Would help he he added some aggression to his game.

New CEO - Gary Pert
We won't know if Pert's any good until after he's been in the job a while: I thought Ray Ellis was going to be good I thought Schwab was going to be good I thought MacNamee was going to be good I thought Harris was going to be good Etc Etc Etc

Mate I don't think you have a clue. Grimes is 26 with over 100 games up. Played 25 games this year. Flag winner & 5th in the Tigers B&F in a Premiership year. Plays on talls or shorts & is the first picked in their defence after Rance. Tough, smart & determined - coaches love him & supporters love him.

And here's me thinking that the whole point of football was to win premierships. Obviously the Richmond coaches think Grimes skill are adequate for the job but you obviously know better.

Might have been reliable & dedicated but still a poor selection by the Club IMHO. He was courageous but not overly quick & had very average skills. Basically a Casey level player useful as a backup. To add further insult we picked him in the 09 pre season draft ahead of Dylan Grimes.

Thank You Paul Roos and Peter Jackson
Jackson's most important job now is to make sure that whenever he decides to leave his replacement is as good as he is.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Ridiculous comment contrary to all the evidence we have seen. First of all JT was not underperforming - he was injured so it doesn't lay the law down to anyone. Plus Richmond would not have bothered with a medical if the deal was a sham & both Trengove & Roos have indicated in interviews that the deal would have gone ahead.
