That's a pretty disappointing comment & put down. Only the first 3 Dees mentioned were full forwards plus B Brown. Dillon was an outstanding CHF or flanker & played for Victoria. Robertson was a very good HFF who kicked 75 goals one year & should have been AA. Parke was the best mark of his era & one year took the most marks in the comp. And a number of the opposition players you mentioned never played at full forward.

Not sure what they do in meetings & training session but the plan seems to be to kick it half a metre over the head of the forward. Thursday the only decent fwd delivery all night was Petracca to Fritter for the last goal.

Its not about exact like for like match ups its about the defence working as a unit. Sometimes for short periods McVee has to mark a bigger opponent, Hibbo has to tag resting rucks or May on a small quick player. You just dont drop players in good form & in any case Petty, apart from the odd flash, has been in average form this year.

A totally subjective and absurd statement. Tommo matches up fine. If he is dropped after an excellent game its the worst selection decision since Dunn was kept in the 2s by Oscar McD. It would be a repeat of our silly selection decisions of 2022.

That assessment is absolute nonsense. The defence as a unit worked very well. If we kick straight we win by 5 or 6 goals.
