Oh God - looks like a Sydney/ GWS grand final. I'm going to find something else to do next Saturday. Couldn't watch it.

The dogs are not giving up...

The ex Casey player who I was chatting to yesterday has played at that oval and said where Salem hit his head was the hardest and worst spot on the ground. He said he was doubtful Salem would get up this week.

After our last meeting with St Kilda, I swore I would never go back to that shocking venue. However, I am making an exception this weekend as I feel starved of football already and excited about seeing Casey in the GF. I was talking to a former Casey player yesterday (he left at the end of last season) and he feels Casey have it over the Bulldogs and will win comfortably.

Have they forgotten about the siren - 38+ minutes now??

100% agree. I was holed up in rainy Daylesford all weekend. My husband has the flu and slept. The TV was pretty ordinary and there was not even an AFL game to watch and kill a bit of time. To make matters worse, Channel 7 did not play the Casey VFL game. Very disappointing.

Tim Watson's commentary is doing my head in.... I thought Dwayne was bad.

I am looking forward to watching the game from the comfort of my warm lounge room rather than freezing my butt off like I did at the MCG last week. Sad though as its the and of the season for us and I will really have zero interest in any of the other results but will perk up a bit when trade time comes around.

I still remember my trip to Europe the year when there were whispers about Paul Roos being appointed as coach. I visited every chapel and cathedral I could find, lit enough candles to start a fire and did several hundred Hail Marys. I am so grateful to whatever power bought him to our club????

I'm rapt for him. I'm sure he will give the preseason 100%. ❤️?
