  1. I legitimately thought the cheer squad did a fantastic job all game, and really lifted in the second half and brought it home magnificently. Kudos to all. Made me proud.
  2. Ya think? I read that game like an absolute page turner and was very happy with the plot.
  3. The cheer squad was ordinary, but otherwise the game was great. @WalkingCivilWar 🫣👋🤣
  4. He was sensational. If he stays then fantastic, and if he leaves he’s going to leave on an astronomical contract offer that will mean we get a LOT in return. Imagine if we took Lachie Ash or Dylan Stephens and Jackson went somewhere else? We would be furious.
  5. I’m going to write a longer post about that game when I get on the train… but if that performance didn’t make you love your footy team a little bit more than you thought was possible I feel sorry for you.
  6. Petracca can’t play in the midfield when he’s not fit. He looks moles off it. He was absolutely spent at the 20 minute mark of that quarter. Something is very clearly wrong with him.
  7. I’ll be there on my lonesome (which I’m assuming is a measure of how the side is travelling, and has nothing to do with my personality).
  8. Disco a bit stiff with the injury. ‘Fractured Face’ sounds like something I’d call my mate.
  9. Weid, May Bedford In Turner, Gawn, M Brown, Chandler out From afl site
  10. Oh god I hope so! Can you imagine the meeting with De Goey where they had to explain the concept of the financial year as opposed to the Gregorian calendar? I’d pay to watch that.
  11. Collingwood are copping a hiding in the media for the way they’ve handled this. You can say what you want about our boys decision making, but the club didn’t mess about. The AFL will be fuming at the way this story is building now. The competition looks soft on respect for women.
  12. I agree! Which is what makes the timing of his decision to go public with it now odd.
  13. Surely it should have been a fine suspended until the end of the season. Didn’t the courts get the memo?
  14. The courageous thing to do would have been to come out and acknowledge his diagnosis when he first got it. Now it seems like an excuse. A mental health or neurological disorder diagnosis is really nothing more than a series of data that can be used to help you, and those around you, make more informed decisions moving forward. I understand that he’s a young guy with a lot to learn, and I’m trying to have empathy, but poor public behaviour and announcing a mental illness/neurological disorders has a very unhelpful cultural stink about it.
  15. Remember when the minor premiership was a poisoned chalice? That turned out ok. What matters is that we can be there deep in September, and that we are in good enough shape to really challenge. Cant wait for Thursday night. I expect to see a lot of you there!
  16. I wish Eddie was still there. He’d call it a proud day.
  17. Clearly some people view him differently than I do. I don’t doubt he’s sharp, I just never understand why such intellectual capacity is wasted on a mugs game like politics.
  18. Gotta wonder if/how Lachie Neale figures into all of this too. Remember last years debacle.
  19. Thanks. Now I’m developing a conspiracy theory on a relationship between Brayshaws contract and Jackson’s? 🤔
  20. Geelong 🤔
  21. Sumich is trolling Freo. He’s trying to upset the apple cart of uncontracted players at Freo. Funny really.
  22. https://www.afl.com.au/news/781691/-we-set-up-our-program-to-be-at-our-best-when-it-counts-cats-bold-plan-to-peak-at-right-time Conjecture over. Looks like some clubs are openly discussing it now.
  23. After the Geelong Eagles game Hawkins said that Geelong have had increased training the last 2 weeks. Following that comment Nathan Buckley said that all teams are in different training modes depending on their plans for the season.
  24. Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.
