This really gets to me, I think he is making a mockery now and is doing a lot of harm to the issue.
-
He (Litherland) is the type of player Roos would look at.
-
...but Garry Lyon didn't choose this one, Roos did and that has to be a point of difference.
-
Now that's interesting. Evans would have you believe it's on his recommendation but that's not the case at all. The commission can act on their own accord. I agree.
-
He didn't...Chinese Whispers 'Jack'.
-
Seems about right.

Me too, but I think the reason Danger becomes gettable is his FA status in 2016. Crouch is a way off that and would be harder to break free particularly with his brother also at Adelaide.
-
Glad I didn't take my word for it either. Looks like they wanted him but he has made a smart choice.

Players to target at the end of the year

...and we haven't been far behind them. -
No way will it be Thompson, the GC job though is a whole different story. ...Thompson as a good Vic is too smart to go to Adelaide.

A couple of interesting paragraphs from separate articles in the Age. Do the sums and draw your own conclusions.... While all parties have denied a deal has been done, Adelaide is also expected to formalise the appointment of player agent Justin Reid to the club by November. The Elite Sports Properties agent and son of former Crows football boss John Reid appears certain to assume the role of Adelaide list manager, a move that has raised eyebrows at rival clubs, given Reid's current role. The Sanderson sacking also surprised the coach's management, the influential Elite Sports Properties, which had been preparing to meet with Sanderson on Friday and had been heavily involved in the conversations between Goodwin and Melbourne. Goodwin was the frontrunner to become senior assistant under Roos, in which he would be in pole position - or have an outright guarantee - of the senior position once Roos finishes at the end of 2016. Like Sanderson, he is managed by Craig Kelly's ESP.

Not conjecture about the match day coaching, personal observation. I don't think he was a very good match day coach. The rest is reading the tea leaves, it's pretty obvious what's happening. The reasons may not be as obvious and which players are involved but there may be fallout from those close to Sando then again probably not. When Lyon unseated Harvey there was noise for a week or 2 then the players got on with it.

Ricciuto is calling the shots, Goodwin is the new Crows coach you can back that one in. They couldn't afford to let him go to Melbourne, he's a favourite son like Buckley.

It will be

Sanderson's match day coaching left a bit to be desired at times, it seems the senior players where not happy and the club have come in and made a decision. They knew that Danger and other senior players were getting itchy feet and couldn't let them leave the club. They may well have made the best decision in the interests of their club. I would be surprised if Goodwin is not the next senior coach, the other stuff going on around them at the moment is just a sham.

I think the opposite.

I would back it in he is, as we know management can be blindsided in these things.

Potential Trades [Warning: Reading this thread may self-destruct]

Might not be available for a while... -
Ru wants his mate to coach, we were about to sign him and they jumped early. Simple really...
-
Looks like he could have the Adelaide job...Sando shafted???

No, my point was really more about the big fuss made of the number at the time. I just thought the whole thing was pretty dumb, a player at the club for a minute and handed the number 11. 31 had a chequered history as well, Templeton was one I remember then Scully, Grimes should never have agreed to change his over. Just let the players make their own history.
-
Was there a big press conference when Nathan got number 2 'Redleg'? I don't remember.

Kind of crossed my mind too. -
I couldn't understand the number thing that Schwab seemed to have. The big fuss with Mitch and Jimmy, I mean he only met him for a minute and then bang goes the number and the backstory that went with it. All total spin. Scully 31, then Grimes 31. I hope they retire 31 & 11 for a while then maybe sneak the numbers back in when no one is looking.
