		Neil Balme potentially leaving Richmond

69yo next year...certainly brings calm and wisdom to an organisation. If he was up for it, would love him on board. If he wasn't looking for a full-time job next year he would also be the right person to carry out an independent review of our club. Couldn't think of anyone more qualified and we should jump at the opportunity.

		Racial vilification of Kozzy

Bigots are bigots, I'm sure they don't care which team. Even their own teams players.

		Racial vilification of Kozzy

Actually no....lets edit that out. Was posting about the Covid stuff.. ...but this is too important to be derailed. Please keep on track everyone. This thread is about racial abuse of Kossy. I see that the police tracked down the hero who threatened Grimes. I hope they have success with some of these racist morons.

VFL to Merge with NSW & QLD State League

I can't see how or why they would be a part of it. Port have been struggling financially for a while now. It just makes no sense for them to be a part of this now.

VFL to Merge with NSW & QLD State League

I guess it's the end of the traditional VFA clubs that are left. Port & Willie either pack up or do a Fitzroy and move on to another comp.

		Charlie Spargo

I think he is depth at best. I don't see Charlie getting a regular game if we are to be a Premiership contender. For now, I guess he gets a game.

		NON MFC: Round 13

This is a terrible game of footy. The consistent this season is that C/Wood have been in many terrible games. Their game plan and personnel keep throwing up rubbish games.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?

One of our problems is a lack of talent. I don't know if his issues are insurmountable but he does have talent.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?

...for a throw away pick in the 50's???

		Joel Smith

He's really not... Been tried there before in real games and it didn't work. 'Wise' spells it out pretty well here.

Thanks 'AF'... That was also what I meant to post and got sidetracked. I sure hope we get that news very soon...

Now that's the way to apologise, I hope they back it up with actions. At least they're not holding a royal commission like Eddie's mob.

If you watched some of the footy from Darwin the other night. Good old BT was pushing out some really condescending stuff about the fans that wasn't great to say the least. He's of my generation and I know he didn't mean it but at the same time so many just don't really get it. We've got a long, long way to go.

		Tom McDonald

Funny to say for a first year player... ...but he has been a big loss. Just got our forward half into some type of shape then he goes down. Apart from anything else I really like watching him play. Look forward to watching him develop in 2021.

He had lost is as a defender and we had to try and find a spot forward for him. Started well in defence but then lost it. The same thing is happening to him now as a forward. It would be worth making the change during a game 'Biff', you have to try something. ...but as a permanent move, May has been too valuable as a defender.

I think we would be lucky to get that 'dazz'...Bruce is a similar type a year younger. "The Western Bulldogs have added to their key forward stocks by recruiting Josh Bruceto the kennel. The Dogs & Saints struggled to agree on Bruce's trade value over the past week, but the Saints eventually accepted picks 32 and 51 in return. The 27-year-old has been given a four year deal at the Dogs." We would probably be lucky to get a pic in the 50's for Tommy in exposed form now...

Probably better suited here... From my topic back in early 2019... I think he should have been dropped back then. Most, including our FD lived in hope. It was false hope.

Like' @binman' above, I had just read the article before catching this post. It's a very sad story indeed. The reaction from the VFL and local football bodies at the time was telling. They were not cast in a great light. Sports administrators often follow rather than lead the way. I expect to be reading about how the AFL turned a blind eye to the behaviour of certain club Presidents and the poor behaviour shown to Adam Goodes among others sometime down the track. We've certainly got a long way to go despite the current rhetoric.

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)

Back in the good old days you hit someone you got 4 weeks. If you kicked someone you got a hell of a lot more. Pretty simple system made complex. 4 weeks if you hit someone and I don't think you need to worry about it happening anymore... Of course it wasn't so easy to catch anyone back in those days so they had a payback system. You think Lynch would have done it if Collins could have had a shot back...I doubt it.

Lynch like Burgoyne and the sling tackle gets away with a fine. You can guarantee someone will be made an example of. If I was a low profile player (think ANB) I would be very careful in the current environment. The AFL are looking for you.
