  1. Tim Lamb explained draft picks nicely. Some teams trade for points and other trade for picks/position. He called it a two tier system. Points are irrelevant if you’re moving up a few picks and this gets you the player you have been targeting.
  2. How many games do you watch live Spirit?
  3. JT has an eye for recognising talent and will have in mind who is worth trading up for. It would have been nice to have been in this position last year when Humphrey was on our radar. We have already traded up and I’m sure JT knows who he is after. If the trade up was part of the puzzle, time will tell.
  4. That’s being generous DD 😆
  5. And is a much better poster since being traded from Big Footy.. 🤪
  6. Fullerton is already a better forward and mark than Grundy, but not as good of a ruckman/player. We do lose out in many ways, but he provides more in these two areas.
  7. Didn’t LJ request a trade to Freeo, not WA/WC?
  8. Harley Reid can play midfield. Heard he goes alright too 😀
  9. Absolute ****te! Was it a disaster? By who’s reckoning?
  10. Possibly have or working on a better offer. If we are chasing pick one hard, bodes well for us. Depending on what/who we give up.
  11. You a grumpy bugger tho Dazzle! just saying
  12. It’s 8:10am CVO!! Put the bottle down.
  13. It’s rare a player requests a move to a club and does not get to their destination. Play hard Crows and see how that works for you now and in the future.
  14. With dud comments like that, you stay a dud commentator until proven otherwise. 🧐🤨🤔🤔
  15. Gotta love May. He is all class 🖕
  16. Hopefully we find out early tomorrow If we are low balled. If it looks that way, I’m sure the club has a plan to whatever pick we get. The MFC focuses on the whole trade period/package, rather than an individual swap.
  17. I rate Hickey’s value to the Swans game than what Grundy will bring. Hickey is tough, strong and works his [censored] off. Grundy not so much.
  18. It’s an easy concept @beelzebub. Go onto an opposition player. Stay close, block him, stop his running ability and running patterns, be physical, stop him from getting the ball. If he gets the ball, nullify his possession output by putting pressure on. Create turnovers. When we have the ball. Provide an option, make him accountable, make sure your possessions hurt and turn his focus from attack to make him accountable. Putting him off his game. A Nagger…. Harmes was good at it many times. Capiche 🤔🤔🤔?? 😜🤪😂
  19. The definition of a Tagger has changed over the last 20 years. Let’s call him a Nagger. A nullifying Tagger with the option to provide ball getting ability. This is exactly how Harmes was played over many games. Teams play to their structure these days. Tagging is outdated.
  20. A PREMIERSHIP. nuff said 😜😉
  21. I think you will find Dazzle brought up Daicos first.
  22. No names can become names. Big names can be over rated. 2022 MFC drafts = Grundy and Hunter. A premiership captain and a multiple AA. Apologise to Hunter, he was good this year. Fullerton will provide more forward craft.
  23. Grundy will be doing a light jog, sometimes moving into a light sprint back and forth, miss reading the flight of the ball.
  24. Grundy was poor for us this year. He could not provide an attacking or defensive element to the team or his game. He just wanted to work to his strengths and that is purely around the ball as a ruck/midfielder. When I say attacking, I mean as a marking target moving forward from anywhere on the field, and he was poor providing a defensive element on the last line of defence. His ability to read the ball in flight is average….. His ability to work hard was questionable at times too. Grundy is a very good player, not a great player. The Swans will miss Hickey for his aggression and ability to work hard.
  25. Adams has a history of hammies and is ageing. He fits the Swans need for an inside mid though. Could go either way.
