  1. Great acting by both on the 9 news for a Footy Classified promo. They would have both walked away and slapped each others back on such a great job and cant believe the press they both got for 9 news and footy classified.
  2. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/580718/behind-closed-doors-13-days-through-the-darkest-of-times Club was ment to fly out sat morning but had to wait until sat night to fly with the Freo players arriving in Perth late sat night. Not the ideal preparation.
  3. First 15 minutes we where in the game. Had plenty of the ball/ I50 but couldn't put any score on the board. Turnovers, skill errors, bad luck etc. The score was 1.1 - 0.4. WCE then went inside 50 4 times for 4 goals. Siren went and we where 5 goals down at Q time against the Eagles in Perth and it was game over. and how good was Omac, kept Darling to one shot at goal and no influence on the game at all!
  4. Gills leadership has actually been outstanding. Gill hasnt just made this decision on his own. Those extra dollars are the dollars that might just keep our club alive. I'm sure if we end up 10-20 Mil plus in the red at the end of the year you'll be the first to jump up at the AGM having a go at Pert.
  5. Its so when down the track multiple games have to be played within the one week shorter games are what is planned. Its being applied now to make it consistent across the season.
  6. Id be opposite think it just right. Omac/May both key posts. Lever best suited to third floater/interceptor. Hibberd best suited to mid size runner. In comparison Haw have named, Frost, Frawley, Stratton, McKevoy, Sciliy.
  7. I wouldn't spend time at a social club that didn't offer CUB products. Who wants those fruity new age [censored] options anyway.
  8. Some people just want there hand held all the time dont they. Maybe take some responsibility yourself.
  9. What like last season.
  10. Its got nothing to do with being back. Definition of to hell and back :informal : through a very difficult or unpleasant situation that often lasts for a long time She's been to hell and back since her daughter became ill.
  11. I can see with more games under his belt and a bit of consistency with his body there is no reason why he wont show more games than what he showed in the final. Id take Hipwood from any of those bolded names above and if you compare Sam to him the only thing lacking is goals per game which I believe will come with playing more games and a bit of confidence. Currently 40 games behind Hipwood for the same draft. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=12&playerStatus2=A&tid2=20&type=A&pid1=4171&pid2=4174&fid1=C&fid2=C and if all else fails up forward he will make a great CHB.
  12. The first time Clarry kicked a ball to Tmac was during preseason match 2.
  13. It was the reading of the ball in flight and quick step that took him from being behind Lever? to i front of the pack and in a position to be able to take the mark that I was impressed with.
  14. Not sure the AFL can control if and when Bennell wants to go to a driving range or to playback yard cricket with some friends. He is permitted to train with us after all.
  15. @ChaserJ have you seen much/any of Cam Taheny. Sounds like an option aswell.
  16. Sydney's not bidding on Green.
  17. 90% of the quality talls within the AFL are drafted in the first round.
  18. I'll be looking for a medium forward especially of we go Picket at 10 and not Weightman. All of the following are predicted around pick 28. Elijay Taylor Cameron Taheny Dylan Williams Hugo Ralphsmith
  19. For years Ive watched the NBA and seen 200cm+ point guards with incredible movement and athleticism and wondered when we will see an athlete like that in the AFL instead of our 200cm+ ruckman who are mostly slow and cumbersome. Buddy is the closest we have had. Jackson could have that potential???? We can all hope.
  20. I believe the failed Trengove swap with Richmond was to be able to select Lever.
  21. Im just p1ssed off I now have to read another 20 odd draft profiles on who might be available at 28.
  22. I see this as the reason we would look at taking Jackson at 3.
  23. Jackson at 3 Weightman at 12 (fills small fwd need) Day at 16 ( HBF with elite kick replaces young)
