Hardwicks game plan doesn't work. Hes lost the players, they have no system. They just bomb it long to nobody. They cant score. The are out worked and lazy. Get rid of him. Sound familiar

While i dont disagree with much above it may just be the fact they went with Jackson last week over Weed ,for what reason, and to change it after 1 game doesn't send the right message to the playing group. Jackson didnt do much wrong, or right but give the kids more than 1 game in 1 game out. Lets see what they have got. No one has been privy to the scratch match form over the last month and all we are really going on is Weeds 5 goals against the northern Blues. How did Rivers earn his game with no matches to show us what he can do. Maybe Jackson showed just as much in the scratch games which got him a game over weed. Im a fan of weeds and his time will come.

Not sarcastic at all. Did we start well? Best quarter we have played for over 12 months. Take out a couple skills errors (eg Nevs kick, trac dropped mark) did we control the last 2 minutes. I never said anything about the middle but you cant wack the coach without giving credit. Could Hardwick stop Carl coming back in round 1 to get within 2 goals from a similar position??

How good was our start. Goody identified that starts were going to be so important this season. Trained for it and and the players implemented it. Thats great coaching. Ahead of the curve. And lets not forget our save the game last 2 minutes. Once again trained it and looked so much more prepared and organised than the opposition.

The above isn't possible answers they are the answers. The season needs to stay consistent from round to round. There is already a couple 5 day turn arounds with travel in the next 4 weeks. Possible that WA will also have a hub after 8 weeks which will put teams into isolation and miss a round of footy meaning they will have to make that game up midweek.

Correct only Melb and Stk dont have a Thrus/Fri or sat night game but the Sunday games we play are all 7 games.

Ones that didnt happen. Melb wanted to trade Darren Kowell to Freo for a compensation pick, which at the time it was said they wanted to use on a young kid from Healsville named David Wirrapanda. Kowell refused to move and the trade never happened. Melb had agreed on a trade with Haw of Ryan Fergerson for Brad Seweell in 2005. Fergerson refused the moved and wanted to stay at Melb. Sewell had only played 2 season at the time.
