thats not the point, the point is that we should get a some type of benefit of him being a F/S, not 'his worth that' We are losing out on another player of similair potential now. I would rather have a Viney and a Dustin Martin and a Cotchin rather then just a Viney and a Cotchin.

I think that this guy is ready to take it to a new level, he barely did any pre-season and look at his performance on the weekend. All this guy needs now is a real good attacking edge. don't get me wrong, he did an awesome job on Goddard, but imagine he ran off him and booted a goal or 2 on the guy. Would've really rubbed salt into the wound, and i think his capable of that to.

I dont think his skills are even as bad as what alot of people make them out to be.

this guy is by far the most under-rated MFC player, i would love to see him play in the forward line as a small forward. Can get a few goals, good defensive pressure and works hard.

Why dont people consider bail as a small forward? He has great defensive pressure, good eye for goal and works hard.

love it how everyone is saying 'it was wet conditions, they arnt suitable' look at it this way, footy is a winter sport, if he cant play in winterish conditions then the sport isnt for him.

its disappointing that guys like bail, mckenzie, magner and bartram are killing themselves out there and then guys like Watts, Trengove, Tapscott are barely having a touch or throwing themselves in

Yeh he should still b around by the rookie draft with his antics and injury concerns. Tough draft for him to be in with so many strong players expected to go early, young Jack cant compete with his group. If he was in the 2006 draft he may have had a chance.

Hope this contract is a gentlemens agreement we have. Id hate more of my membership fees to be going towards another injured kid. Thgh i think the dees will be on the ball this time around and not waste good picks on injured kids. Maybe 3rd round.

What are you talking about? I said if we are forced to take Viney at #3, then there will be an extra player to pick from then the bulldogs get there pick. If theyre pick is after ours then they will have pick 5 (First round) and 6(Compo) and will get better players as we were forced to take viney rather then another high pick player. I never said anything about trading.

I say Trade our first round pick for the #1 17 yr old in mini draft. GWS will take our pick 3 in a heartbeat, we still get 2 first rounders, Viney and next years #1 (This will need to be organized prior to bidding/trade season)
