  1. I think Neeld may go for Towers as he wants Mature players. I would be happy with this at 20
  2. I count them in my list as i expect a turnover of 10 all up including rookie pickups. Also players can be delisted and redrafted as rookies. That aside we also have an international list which we can have up to 6 international players.
  3. I cant believe I am saying this but I see something in Morton and don't think he should be delisted. I think that he should be given one more year. Him and Gysberts. I have lost hope on Martin, Bennell, Petterd, Cook, Davis (Unlucky and if other teams do their research will be a good pickup) and Bate Those 6 with Lawrence, Green, Moloney and Jurrah make 10 possible changes.
  4. Garland can be extremely smart and nifty around goals i think. He was drafted as a Forward and could provide good support as a 3rd tall.
  5. Anyone know what O Rourke is like in terms of personality? If we take Wines i hope we keep speedsters like Bail and Blease in the midfield more. How quick is Wines?
  6. Dont write off Garland guys. I think he can be a consistent forward with proper delivery and some small forwards helping to hold it in their.
  7. I was just thinking this. We have lost 4 players and gained 4 so far so does that mean we cant net anymore in trades until we delist?
  8. Wellingham for pick 20 could still be feasible.
  9. Give my opinion a rest? Mate if everyone took your advice you would have nobody to discuss things with on this forum.
  10. I wouldn't write off Mcrae either. Pendlebury type player who has been dominating the midfield in u18s. Checkout his highlight reel. Def worth adding to the list of potentials. I think he could add a different dimension to our midfield. Watch he is #21: [media=]
  11. Hogan only averages 2.2 goals per game this year. I just worry that we are over rating him a tad... Especially since we have the worst mid-field in the comp...just saying....this being a mid field super draft and all..
  12. GWS probably would have not wanted to give us pick 20 if we wanted Jed
  13. I disagree, we already have Magner, Viney, Jones and Sylvia to do the job people want Wines for. We should draft O Rourke or Mcrae who can spread better and be the ones that get fed the ball. No point having so many players getting the ball if they have nobody decent to pass it off to
  14. Lets hope we haven't gone from one extreme to the other and end up only drafting big muscly to heavy brutes who can't spread or cant get 50-70m with the ball.
  15. Haven't watched his highlight reel yet lol. Settle down.
  16. I just watched clips of Mcrae I have gone from favoring Toumpas to O'Rourke to Mcrae in the last 24 hours. I think he would compliment us best so my order of pref is now Mcrae, O'Rourke, Toumpas, Stringer, Wines
  17. Hope we haven't gone from one extreme to the other with Neeld. While Bailey loved the Skinny/Quick/Skillful players Neeld seems to like chunky/stocky/gorilla's. Lets hope he doesn't overkill on them....we already have Magner, Jones, Sylvia, Viney, Couch as chunky mids and now looking to have Clark, Hogan, Dawes up forward
  18. Hope we get this kid. After watching him I rate him higher then Wines. He will add a different dimension to our mid-field. Kid is a ball-magnet and is hard to predict which means he will be good at shaking a tag. Very classy and can mix it up if he needs to. Him and Viney in the midfield next year would make an immediate impact.
  19. Now that our pick 13 has become pick 20 those Ben Kennedy/Stringer/Garlett threads probably wont get to much action so I thought I would kick off the first of the potential pick 20s in the draft. Nightmare has Graham going at pick 20 and has given the below write up on him on BF Nicholas Graham (VIC – Util) Height: 182cm, Weight: 76kg, DOB: 12/06/1994 Recruited from: Gippsland Power Style: Player comparison: Range: 20-50 Profile: Have been impressed with his game. Graham has above average pace but what really stands out is his ability to attack the ball and I really like his tackling game and his tackling energy has been a real highlight with the pressure he provides. Marking ability also solid for a player of his size. Uses it well by both hand and foot. Decision making ability good. Also an above average stoppage player and has a really natural inside awareness as well as the ability to read ruck taps. Does anyone know this kid well? Do they know what his personality is like or what position he plays best?
  20. Should start a thread called - Goodbye from the Melbourne football club - Jamie Bennell to go inline with this Wonder if this kid can be groomed into a good small forward - possibly in an Eddie Bette's type mould?
  21. I think we had to talk GC into taking Martin at pick #2 With original price being 2 first rounders 5 + 6 GC were reluctant to try top it. Seems like we went in and provided that 2nd pick for GC to snare Martin at 1. See it as MFC to GC: Pick 13 to let Viney slide. GC to GWS: Pick 13 + 2 for Martin. (Better then picks 5 + 6) MFC to GWS: Pick 3 for Hogan Alternative would have been GC bids on Viney and uses 2 on Toumpas We keep 4 and 13 and take Viney/O Rourke/Dawes/26 GWS snares picks 5 and 6 for Martin
  22. I guess if we don't ontrade pick 20 we can take this guy #20 Nicholas Graham (VIC – Util) Height: 182cm, Weight: 76kg, DOB: 12/06/1994 Recruited from: Gippsland Power Style: Player comparison: Range: 20-50 Profile: Have been impressed with his game. Graham has above average pace but what really stands out is his ability to attack the ball and I really like his tackling game and his tackling energy has been a real highlight with the pressure he provides.
