I don't think any player doesn't try......I also think it is very hard to change your whole playing style in one preseason I think that our senior players have been playing the way they play for ten years or more and then asked to change to a complely different style and believe that they are a little lost out there at the moment.......I also don't believe that they are sulking or not buying in. I know I will get shouted down in this belief but the whole team looks lost and are trying to do the right thing by the coaching staff and when you are unsure about change it looks like you are not trying.....ie....Do I go?....do I stand by my man and defend?....What am I supposed to do with it when I get it?....Indecision....Opps to late....... Just a thought????

Mate I agree with you in some respects....It is very hard to give up rites and behaviours that have gone on for 40,000 years.....Have you seen how these people live???......What their chances are for living a decent and full life that we all have been given???.....I went to Wales not long ago and they still hate the English with a passion and the further North you get there is open hostility when they think your English (have to explain you are Australian) and then their attitude changes.....Would you give up the way you live with your coloured TV ,computer,choise of where to live......and have your culture changed....Wars have been fought over these issues.....I don't think you saying that is self defeating and pointless unless you can live in their enviorment.....Not having a go but there is violence everywhere today....

What ever the ruling by the white mans courts....This will never be resolved until 'payback' occurs.....I think that the NT government has outlawed 'payback' and this is where the two world collide.....

While I agree that it was untenable.....By what right do the players have to cause him to be sacked prior to a court hearing when he is cleared of any wrong doings....Mob rules....

Also heard the defence has put forward that identity(Which is the 1st point of proofof any offence) would be debated......Whisper is that LJ was in a seperate room with kids when incident happened.......With the civil war going on there at the moment....and LJ being a high profile person within that community.......would he not be the perfect person to hang these offences on????? ....Just asking...

The date in July is an evidence hearing to see if there is enough evidence to send him to trial. He will have to appear and this case will go for several days....

Would appear to be given bail due to not being a flight risk or have prior convictions(not sure on this one.)

So if I get this right........No matter what happens in the white man's court,payback will occur.......If this is so, how come witnesses for the proecution (indiduous people) will give evidence in the white mans court.....as well as demanding payback???? Seems that they want it both ways....
