    I don't know if playing one bad game against one of the best sides in the competition makes you not clicking with the coach is quite right.

    Jim, It's Fitzpatrick... And those wanting Martin back in......He hasn't played for three weeks.....Is still injured......And would want to get some confidence back or look like he wants to play.....

    Point taken I just don't see how you can prepare for injuries like broken jaws. Maybe Viney should take note as well. Maybe also you could inform the rest of us peasents about what acually happened.

    We have already informed the AFL we will. I don't know what paperwork is involved but I'm sure we have lodged it

    Look. I would love to get him with a 2nd round pick but it's just not going to happen. From what I've seen he is worthy of a 1st round pick and that's where we will get him. I don't think GC and GWS are going to give us a free kick by not nominating him.

    This arguement is a non issue. MFC has informed the AFL that we will claim JV under the F/S rule, we have beem closely involved with him since he was 14. His family has moved to Melbourne and his father is heavly involved with the MFC. I can,t see us breaking a contract for an outstanding junior player against a speculative draft pick what ever the number.He is ours. Thats it.

    I understand what you are saying but What doubt would GWS have when he is a contrated Player and we have stated that we will draft Him????

    That's crap Any player can do a knee or other serious injury. Not just MFC players. and what happens if the two you mention do not cut it?? and we have passed on a gun who we have already put 2 years into??

    Both players you mention have already been drafted So a non issue. We have commited to Viney and have a contract in place. He would go top ten anyway and will have had gained lots by training with MFC for 2 preseasons before he plays.Who knows if he is better than Whitfield or Stratton that is the fun of the draft All I know is that he is a very good midfielder with grunt and skills. You cannot pick them all.

    GWS and GC are not stupid. Many on here are wanting us to call bluffs and play poker. As stated above he is contacted,so he is coming to us at whatever the draft pick he gets through to. Imagine that we break that contract and don't choose him and he turns out to be a gun mid. People on here would have a field day about the wrong doing at the draft again.

    How many years did it take for Tom Hawkins to get to this stage??? 4or 5????? and is just now coming good. All MFC want jack to come good but some people just can't wait. So what would they do??? Trade him,sack him, he"ll never make it??? Give me (and him) a break. How good was Roo Sat night??? Beaten by a 20 year old. I hate the stupid crap that I read on here because one player did not live up to their expectations on a night that the conditions were deplorable for talls.

    Is it just me or have all the print jornos turned tv stars. Mark Robinson Never played a game of AFL but has the right to have a go at all and sundry onHIS tv show and SEN Jon Ralph Same (Fox footy) Mike Sheehan Played some games for Werribee. His only claim to fame is that he has watched the game for 30 years big deal so have I (On the couch) (Open Mike) How come these people are now such experts??????

    What a lot of snobish crap. I am an MCC menber and a full member of the MFC. A lot of MCC members are not rich or from the upper end of town but my hard earned cash is very hard earned. I don't own a range rover nor do I go to the snow each year. I can't even get to the MCG that often but still pay a full dee's membership. When I do go to the MCG I like to go to the MCC If this upsets you well so be it. Go off with your beer swilling, foul mouthed mates and have a good time. Each to their own.
