Most teams have up to 10 players going through the midfield now.....It would be handy to have at least one or two tough midfielders at the one time...all the time.....Sounds good to me...

I don't think any deal has been done.....I believe MFC assumed that Toumpas would go in the first three and were very happy to take Wines....Now with rumours flying around left ,right and centre they have had to consider Toumpas/Wines....probably a good problem to have....

I don't think you can draft a player with a view to trading him two years later.......You must draft for the player who you believe will be a 100 to 150 game player for yor club.....

I am unaware of any rule that forces any employee to talk to the AFL investigators........Even in the court system you are not obliged to say anything unless you wish to do so.... I don't think the methods of the investigators are even condoned by Police forces around Aust...(Maybe 20 years ago) The AFL had better be very careful ......Also did they get warrants for the computers taken??? The NRL when investigating Storm did things correctly....
