Gee I love this time of year.......So many fit players to fit in to so few positions....without a ball kicked in anger...... New players are going to be stars.......Old players are going to improve out of sight.....Injured players now fit and ready to explode Hopes are high.....DL's picking their best teams and argueing about the merits of certain players......and all hanging out for every little bit of news from the club So much better than late August ..Sept of the past 5, 6 years... I love it...

I think it is very easy to sit in judgement of past and current boards......I am not a business man and do not possess the knowledge or desire to be so.......I believe that all people who run/are on boards have the desire to bring new ideas and processes for the club to be sucessful........They put in a lot of hours of hard work without pay and all for the betterment of the club.. Yes they make mistakes.....Who doesn't......but you can't condem them for having a go.......Can you?????

I think you are only as good as the product you have to sell.....When we become a better team we will have better fixtures,,,,,Maybe 3 or 4 Friday night games.....Maybe more members willing to put in....Everyone loves a winner.......The swans cannot afford to not be sucessful....What your asking for is the goal for every football club in the land not just AFL......The more sucessful you are on the field the more sucessful your club will be...

I alway thought Rodan played pretty well...he always seemed to against us....Although I didn't watch to many PA games but the ones I did watch he was in their better players......I guess we will be able to form an opinion at years end...

You're kidding me right??? Carlton get monies from their prominate members as do all clubs....Carlton have Jenny Pratt who bankrolls the club and still can't make a profit....Visey has bankrolled Judd's extra payments.....Richmond just held a debt demolition as we did to nearly get out of their debt.....If you look back CS took Freo out of the dark ages(finance wise).The MFC has a business plan (which will probably be put at the AGM)........I am not a business man and I profess to not knowing the finer details of said business,but I do know that the club has done pretty well in this financial climate to come out even or with a small profit for the year from hell... Is there someone better???....I am sure there is but at what cost...how much are you willing for the club to spend???/

Sorry mate.....but you and I have no bloody idea about the issues he faces.....From a white, middle class point of view, with our three bedroom houses in the suburbs, our education and our social networks which most of us have had the privlege to have. His leaving a very supporting network means a lot to us but maybe not to him.....Did he know what was going to occur or did he return home to assist his family in the middle of a civil war....If you were living with the eskimos,would you return if your family were in trouble...Bloody oath you would.....It is easy to criticise when your safe and sound ......

Geez WYL....Don't tell me that not one poster on this site has driven over .05 in their life time.....I admit that I have (a lot of years ago now).......It's very easy to critisise the young people of today now that we are older and wiser.....When your young you are invinable and nothing will happen to me sort of attitude....Easy to sit at your computer and preach.....

Denham has a grudge with CS as he stated that CS was rude and dismissive of him some time ago....He admitted this on SEN once but has never repeated it....Just keeps bagging the club......I know why posters get get into a 'tis about his comments but he really does have to 'toughen up Princess'.......If all jurnos had this attitude nothing would be reported as no one would talk to each other....

All this talk of Board spills and opposing tickets to run for the board....I would have thought that anyone opposing the board would have had to nominate well before the AGM...which is on the 6th Feb........I understand that people are not happy the way the current board is running the club,but I (as a member) would have been informed as to who has challenged and what their qualifications were...Would I not?????

I don't believe that CC or his (our) lawyers have said anything.....It was reported that this information was by a legal person with knowledge of the case......Bloody hell that could have been anyone ,even me........Another loose fitting report from the media......No wonder the club or CC have not commented....

But we now have an asset worth $2 to 3 mil....Have we not????

Geez Rob....You could say that about 70% of our list last year..Just watched the Rich game from last year....Trengove oob on the full under no pressure....McKenzie great short pass to a rich player.....and it went on and on.......I really believe that confidence was a major problem last year.....We now have a forward line which can compete in the air....I really felt for Rivers and Garland in this game...

Sorry H_T....I think they should be replaced immediately......Not enough dedication.....I am willing to replace them on the cruise for a modest fee of course......

In the past year...the club couldn't have run better internally........It's the external muck that is the problem....Are you part of that?? The CEO's job is to have the beans to count and manage....A Task he has done very well....You even say that yourself....
