Just pondering what we lost in votes and goals from last year The players departed this year contributed 56 goals, with green scoring 19 and Rivers 13 the main ones Going by the Herald suns votes (5-1) we have only lost 6 votes Rivers 4 and Green 2.....with Jones,Mcdonald,Grimes and Trengove heading up the most votes Admittedly we did,t get many.....but I reckon we will have replaced the ones we have lost by a hugh margin....Thoughts......

That's all we need,Grant Thomas sticking his bib in, just to rile up the AFL.........It's like a bank robber saying it's not his fault.... it's the banks for keeping the money there

I don't believe any body wants this to go to court.....The AFL don't want a test case against their rules(which could cause a precedent) and the MFC don't want a civil case where it would be decided on the 'Balance of probabilities' and not 'Beyond resonable doubt' as per criminal cases..... If it goes to court, it will drag on for a couple of years,it will take that long just to get a court date in the Supreme court...... Lets all hope that common sense prevails and this farce will end before the season starts....

I don't think the coaching staff or the players would care about what happened in 2009.....Hopefully they are all concentrating on 2013....I think players are so far removed from admin of the club...Just my opinion....

I don't think people want a "free kick" they just want to be treated as equal.....The club has progressed a great deal,stability wise, and has made some great steps forward in the football dept......Most clubs have down periods......Most people on here just want to know Why we have been singled out and no one else.....It's not playing the victim.....It's all about equal rights.

The rules haven't changed all that much.....Now, you cannot touch (westle jostle ect) untill the ball has left the umpires hand, after that it reverts back......So that Jamar can do what he has always done against the taller ruckmen....Just has to be a bit smarter about it...

Indivduals should not be singled out.....We are, after all, a club....Are we not????.....Should certain individuals be charged then we must stick by them at all costs.......Hanging them out to dry for decisions made by the CLUB, for the club to get a softer penalty, is just a cop out.

The unfortunate thing is, Stuie, those bumps would cost a player 3 weeks each.....

It doesn't matter what they get paid........We are all entitled to have a few days over Christmas/New year where we can let our hair down don't we?????.....They train, play,very hard all the rest of the time but are not allowed to go to the cricket and have a few beers????....Did they get into a brawl?????......Did they put lives in danger by drink driving????...Did they belt some innocent bloke and break his jaw????.....No.....Can't belive all the fuss....

If you are an AFL player it IS hard to stay out of the newspaper....Where ever you go the media is not far behind....It's a pity they have to hide to prove the're human or to be allowed to have Christmas cheer like we do in public......No arrests.....no charges.....Just told to go home...
