Can we get off the CS debate.....Our club is being run well... We are debt free whereas the top clubs are still in debt Carlton......$5 mil in debt Coll...........$3 mil in debt Western bulldogs...........4 to $5 mil in debt Don't get me started on the interstate clubs like Pt Adel....Suns....Giants....Bris We now have a properly funded FD We posted a profit in the year from hell But we need a CEO who runs things properly????..... People might not like him personally....But who cares....He is doing his job...

Because he does a very good job now that he is not a part of the FD....

You are showing your ignoance....Hawthorn had a lot of politital in fighting after 96.....The bulldogs had stand up fights and board challengers......The saints had the Thomas/and the then president(Can't think of his name) debarcle.......Big headed snobs????For the first time in my memory, the club is solvent,has assests, posted a small profit(and after the year we just had) It's a miricle.....I can't remember when last we had a challege for the board????....Can you enlighten me????

I don't know why everyone has the thought that 'Fan' is wanting to run for the board.....He has differing opinions and that is what this site is about, isn't it???? I might be dumb but if a member doesn't like the current board, he has the right to question and run against it I would have thought....Just saying....

Then, if this is so you may as well go to the snow this winter......This will destroy the club....For the first time in a lot of years I have thought the club to be in a stable condition and have had a bit of optimism........A good balance sheet.....a new no nonsense FD....A hope for the future.....All to be destroyed by ego's......Such a waste......

And on and on and on it goes......If you want to be on the board ....put yourself up for election....It's simple really.

Fair Dinkim....I am just so sick of the political bullsh1t on these threads.....Not having a political bone in my body....I don't care who runs the club as long as we don't go broke and I have a team that I can love, support, for the rest of my life and my kids and grandkids ... All this crap about previous boards, agendas, who has their nose out of joint,what mistakes were made and who's fault it was, is immaterial The club is under seige from without,at this time we are under threat from all quarters and all you people want to do is squbble and whinge about who's fault and who SHOULD have done this and WHO should have done that. Some people even want to offer the heads of our football club as a peace offering...... If we don't fight now as a united club then all you people will have no club to support..and you can then argue who's fault it was......

Well what do you want the answers to?.......If its so pissweak ASK some questions of the club......

The AFL has instucted that all clubs provide a song......I think that it just cheapens the game.......Too much like 'American Sports that have to have the razzamatazz to make their sports watchable........Col, take it up with the AFL not the MFC....

Do the AFL have the right to sack any of our personell....I would have thought that any club can hire or fire whoever they like,without the afl's permission.......CC is now out of the football dept.and now working with sponcers and community affairs........Responsible only to the board....Not the AFL???? I could be completely wrong about this.....

Will never happen DL,not while there is lots of money to be made from blockbuster games....Sometimes you have to earn the right....We get money from the AFL because we are not strong enough yet to demand Fri night games ect.....

lots of ruckmen have the same problem.....Thats why they handball so often.....

Just reported on Ch 7 news......Melb has been asked to explain Melb vs Rich......Why so few interchange moves Melb Vs St Kilda.......Why Frawley was moved off Roo and Dunn put on him when Frawley was on top....Why was Jurrah taken from the ground after kicking 3 goals and not come on again....There were a couple of others but I've forgotten....Old age I suppose I guess it will come to a stage where the coach must get AFL approval to make any moves that are not considered "normal" then the media will have to approve the moves as well or all teams will be investigated......What a world...What a world.
