There are a lot of assumptions Cards. One would assume if MFC have done their due diligence then the Essendon Players are not guilty. I cannot assume anything else than they are guilty.

I have always said "Guilty as charged" from day 1. The thing I am annoyed about is the club failing on their due diligence in recruiting any player from a club that is under investigation from WADA. It's bad enough if you go after an elite player and get stung. But to go after a fringe player just amazes me. I thought that the club was changing the culture from top to bottom. This could put us back 3 years, not because of losing a fringe player, but all the good work with sponsors could be undone. They will probably have been spruiking we are the "New Melbourne" only to unravel it by an Old Melbourne decision. How Stupid can you get.

I would love to hold all bets on Melbourne for 2016 premiers. I wouldn't have a mortgage but a lot of enemies.

I got there about 10 but could only stay for an hour.They had 2 really good sessions of working the ball from full back to pass the centre, with full contact, handball and kicking under pressure. They also had similar games trying to get the ball forward of centre to FF. They all looked pretty sharp. Harmes was the stand out to me. Petracca put a soda through the goals from 5 metres out. Then turned around and off 2 steps barrelled a torp. as straight as a dye to the centre square. Just beautiful to watch. VB, ANB, Jetta all performed really well. I didn't recognise O McD with his hat on, but take the hat off, has his body shape changed. The difference I have noticed this year is the amount of full on intensity in every drill. I saw someone over by the punt road side, take a mark near the boundary about 40m out. Then walk back and slowly walk in and put it straight through the Centre. It was just perfect kicking style. He was wearing Yellow Fluorescent boots. I kept my eyes on him and walked around to see who it was. It was Max King. I don't remember him having such a fluent kicking action. Can someone tell me I am wrong. Anyway that's me for the moment.

Show me the final 8 odds. 8/1 is rubbish. give me 20/1 and I might have a go.

I was really impressed by his highlight reel. But his kicking was so much like pencil.

Trenners was in rehab last Friday. Maybe he is doing a bit of bike work or Gym work.

I just like the way he moves across the ground. Keeping his eyes focused further up field. If nothing is obvious, it's the RH bounce, by that time someone has broken clear and a LF pass just gets released and hit on the chest of his team mate. He is very relaxed and calculated. Just good to watch, but may be could get found out under pressure.

I feel sorry for you George. Parish will end up being elite, something chunk will never reach. I would only dream that Oliver would reach the dithering heights of Dangerman & Stringer.

I usually tie my scarf around the seat I am sitting on for my last game of the year. I think that occurred in Round 2 2012, Round 8 2013, Round 20 2014, then Etihad Round 23 2015. I want my scarf to last well into the finals this year.

I live close to the city, but my post office has been taken over by hard working immigrants I now get the service I deserve.

No just a membership ticket a couple of discount cards and a 2016 calendar plus the token window stickers.

It certainly looked pretty crowded yesterday with all the assistant coaches, development coaches, water boys, computer geeks etc. It wouldn't surprise if they outnumbered the players.

When I said every face turned up the only ones I instantly recognised were Kennedy and Bugg, I wouldn't recognise Melksham if I fell over him.They seemed to fit in in, it was basic training principles where it was like 2 areas of circuit work. I didn't see Roosy or Goodwin there, so they may be in Adelaide getting ready for tomorrow. Next week we may get the real deal.
