  1. Well every face turned up to training today. The older group ran in groups laps of the oval. Chunk was a leader by miles. Hogan ran without that pregnant cow swagger until the last 1/2 lap when he was urged by others to finish it off hard. The swagger then raised its head again but by and large he has improved his gait out of site. Trenners was welcomed back into the fold of competitive running. Gawn was running really well and right up there with the leaders. I saw Terlich at the start but didn't see him for long. Anyone who said he had put on muscle must have been looking in the showers because from my view point he was still a runt. The then went through a series of 40m timed sprints. They all looked pretty quick, but no one broke any records that I could see. I went over to the Punt Road side and watched a few of the rehab go through some timed routines. ANB, Jeffery, Trenners were doing some 75% running exercises. ANB tweaked his left knee last week, nothing serious he said it was bandaged but didn't seem to be affecting him. Trenners seems to be running well, but I would like to see him In A couple of months and see if he can sprint. He said he should be joining in kicking with the main group before Xmas. I sai to Jeffrey what are you doing here. I don't know he replied. You don't get much out of Jeff. Chunk has recovered well from C4-C5 disc replacement, he said when it happened he couldn't raise his arm. He said he is glad he got the surgery done or next year may not have been possible. Petracca was getting the feel of football again with crosstie getting him to take overhead marks. Chunk had him kicking to long leads. Just like a high half forward would be putting it down the throat of a leading FF IMHO. The group then split up into two groups occupying each end of the ground. The then went about getting the ball out of defence. Then getting the ball back into FF. Every player started one on one and they spread as required. Apart from a few errant kicks the workout was pretty good. I left there about 3:45 so some else may add more.
  2. We aren't going to hold you responsible DD, we all know that Neeld over stepped Viney in that decision to take Toumpas over Wines. We all know that JT will never consult you or any other know alls from D'Land. But it's good to imagine yourself in such a position.
  3. Oliver or Parish at 3 don't mind. Pick 7 Weideman or McKay don't know jack shite about either but we need another tall. I watched Francis on his clip but he seems a bit clumsy. He his a great mark forward or back, but it is a highlight clip after all.
  4. I don't think there is enough bulls in a side. This sort of player gets injured. We need a back log of Bulls so we have a depth of them. But not another Moloney full of finger pointing antics.
  5. It appears that Clayton Oliver is the type of player we are after, powerful type midfielder, one that crashes packs. I can just imagine him in the same side as Petracca, Viney & Brayshaw. Parish is quick and an accurate kick over a short distance. He can get his own ball but is also an outside player.
  6. I would be happy with one midfielder and a tall. I don't mind which midfielder they pick as long as it comes at 3 (4) I don't think the bombers are up for 2 talls. There fore we will probably get Weid or Curnow at 7 (10)
  7. The bummers want a tall KPP and a mid fielder. If we don't take Weideman, they will probably take him and Curnow who has the versatility to play forward, back or midfield. We then get left with Parish and Francis. Not bad mind you, but a good tall and a Midfielder looks better.
  8. I think it is our duty to go for Mills at pick 3. If the Swans want him, they will have to spend some points to get him. (If we don't then the responsibility falls to Essendon.) Then it's the bombers turn to bid at pick 4 so as to get one of the academy kids or at least get GWS to give points if they want their man. The more teams don't bid, the less points the northern teams have to cough up. The only problem lies if we are trying to bluff and get landed with a player that we don't really want. But We have witnessed our recruiting department over the past month. They play a good game of poker.
  9. If their f/s pick was bid for at say 10 they would have to part with enough selections that add up to whatever pick 10 is worth. Now that maybe a round 2 and a round 3 ( say 21 & 37) Our picks 46 & 50 would change to 44 & 48. This could change again if other clubs do that to another f/s or academy player.
  10. I thought it was very clear. Even the part where the software overrides the decision of the recruiting manager with NO! You can't do that. I just hope there aren't any software glitches on the night. Then again that could be fun to see them panic.
  11. No I tried several times. So I went and typed training times in the search area. Sure enough it came up this time. Thanks for your trouble.
  12. Who are they planning to pick for the remaining rookie spot. Assuming Michie is a given.
  13. I also took the missus to an ACDC concert on Valentine's Day at Rod Laver arena. There wasn't any smell of Roses that night. Bourbon and pot rained supreme.
  14. I had a similar experience with Diana Ross.Although the wardrobe changes in the centre of the round were pretty good.
  15. They must have something, whether that be overlooked emails, verbal corroboration or different views that he panel didn't take into account. Or even further interviews that ASADA ignored.
  16. Where on the website have they hidden the info. I went on a clicked on Training Times and it came up with the full fixture. Admittedly I went on with my IPad,
  17. What do you think the new evidence is that WADA must have to reverse the ASADA decision?
  18. Viney is my smokey. His disposal this year improved out of site. Obviously not being coached by his old man. From what I have seen so far, his running is a big plus. Viney will be the talk of the town.
  19. If we value Hogan more as a CHF Why wouldn't we go after Schache if he is still available at 3. Then we could pick up Francis or Parish at 7
  20. One number brings him bad luck. So he gets a number from a guy that had 3 knee recos. Good luck Christian.
  21. Shoot Biffen now the false concern should be killing him.
  22. Let's hope not. That means our list hasn't improved in the past 6 years.
  23. I have had a beer in just about every Criterion pub in Aus. And I did take the missus on a trip to Paris last year
