Mo64 sometimes I feel like I'm reading my own posts when I read yours. One of the handful on here that understands you don't have to warp reality to be a strong supporter of the club. I love the club but won't call blue red. People, including the Media seem to be going down the same path as in 2010 , suddenly pencilling in premierships just because we get a few rising star nominations and can score quickly. It stinks of groundhog day.

Jack Watts has become our key play maker. His decisions and delivery are just magnificent. With so much inexperience in the side, someone with watts poise and disposal is so important. never will be the contested beast but we dont need that from him. Clearly a better player when we are winning the contested ball which this year we have been. I have little doubt the club will secure his services but gee his link up play across half forward is vital for the team going fwd. possible the best set shot in the league, and rarely stuffs up a possession. Hogan is important obviously but dont underestimate watts future contribution to the clubs chances.

exactly. we are very young and we are trying to implement a flawed game plan. it will get corrected over the off season i hope. we played poorly against gold coast and brisbane. was suprised not more was made of it but i guess some are easily impressed with big margins. 14 other sides wouldve beaten us for the last month. now, the future is bright but the present, well lets just keep it real. h

do you guys know anything about footy??! FFS it wasnt mcdonald, it wasnt the trip to alice, it wasnt the 6 day break. Its a poor game plan, with inexperienced and young players attempting to execute it. Mcdonald did ok with the footy, the coaches box requires him to push fwd. im sure if he had his way he would stick to dixon like glue and probaly win the battle.

People get sucked in by media hype , yet if you call it out you are classed as being negative. the fact is we havent played a good game since richmond. two games of ordinary footy agains even more ordinary sides merely papered over the cracks shown up by st kilda. i got called out for saying pies will beat us by 6 goals next week. those posters in question should be feeling pretty stupid right about now. learn to read football better or just stay off the forum. tired of reading fluff posts by people who too readily ignore whats being played out in reality because it feels better to get dragged along by media hype. its like a f*&king cult on here!

You don't know much about footy if you think the matchup will be the same. Collingwood are a completely different side than 1 mth ago. We would've got beaten by 15 other sides last weekend

Not having a go at you but when i commented on how uncomfortable Hogan looked when questioned I was shouted down. On this site , its ok to read in to oppo players body language but it seems a bit too close to home when one of our own exhibits the same signs of discomfort when being questioned on their future. I dont see any posters having a go at you Dazzle for reading in to prestias body language. Demonland can be a bit 'cultish' at times.
