  1. I wouldn’t give a [censored] If someone lost their health or life because they harassed my partner or family/friends. The world is a jungle and if you stick your nose in to other peoples business then you must accept a hospital bed or a pine box. If more people remembered this then perhaps there would be less smart arses. a guy punched my girls [censored] a few years ago. I put him in hospital with a broken ashtray. im sure he’s more respectful these days
  2. How about leaving it alone! The game is Fine. The media jump on the odd fight but it’s been going on for decades. 99% of the time it’s not a problem.
  3. Kennett - need about 5 million more of his kind in this nanny state. What he said is dead right. How we celebrate and watch sport is uniquely Australian and it’s getting changed by PC police and immigrant security guards who have NFI - and nor should they . They didn’t grow up following footy like we did. They can’t be expected to understand the nuances of our culture - but equally so, it shouldn’t be a capital offense to point that fact out.
  4. Lol, yeah goodes has had such a tough life. Stardom and big money to play sport must really enable him to connect with those less fortunate. The guy is a professional victim ( as player and as a man) and the day he retired was a great day for the afl
  5. Can someone please explain who Lilly Mitchell is ?
  6. What a load of PC guff. eddie betts doesn’t get booed. goodes was a racially divisive [censored] of the highest order and got exactly what that delivers. betts will be remembered as a great man and a superb player. goodes tried to bring politics in to football and got exactly what he deserved. The crowd spoke - “F^*+ off mate”
  7. Hi Admin anything you guys can do to avoid RFC banner ads on Demonland - it’s offensive . thiight they were related to browsing history but I’ve never browsed that kind of dirty trash before
  8. You guys clearly haven’t travelled much if you think the daily planet is an interesting place. Lol a cliche run of the mill [censored] house, with all the over the top rules and regulations a nanny state like Australia offers you. Great
  9. Stop rabbiting on about Jessie’s considerable issues he’s had to deal with. He’s a man. He needs to deal with it. perosnally, he has been riding on the reputation of his ‘potential’ for too long. I believe we have won by trading him out. He won’t be the generational player he was billed as and we get a strong key back to add to our side.
  10. That’s a fantastic interview mate! Very well done
  11. 'very good' is a stretch. hes been ok but hasnt been busting the door down. Not even close to the top bracket of VFL forwards, let alone an AFL talent.
  12. As usual on this site, posters will see what they want to because the reality stinks. weidemann is a bust. KPF take a while but the good ones show potential in the meantime and any astute footy observer can see it. Highlighting 6 tackles for a KPF is really clutching for straws. Half of us could go out and lay tackles. move him on
  13. club made a big error in drafting for needs instead of best available when going for Wiedeman. forced the issue and i think we have Lucas cook Mk2. i get the whole 'talls take time ' argument and totally agree. However , GOOD talls that take time, show some glimpses along the journey. Weed shows no hunger for the contest nor ability to find the ball. of course hes got a limited tank but the talented fwds show a bit. Weed is a bust i fear. Goldne rule - draft best available and trade for needs using the players drafted as currency. Club forced it out of desperation for a F50 partner for Hogan. we will regret it
  14. Of course he didnt go to talk to Freo. thats people trying to connect dots that dont exist. im sure he went home to visit family and friends in this day and age you dont have to fly to freo to discuss ontracts. still think hes gone but his visit got whipped up by the media
  15. "It's not my thought process at all. It's not really a money thing, it's just (about) where I want to be." gone
  16. With the points you made, you are right- it makes no sense. wjat you didn't include was the draw of family, an intangible that depending on the individual is impossible to measure in dollars
  17. Him going to Perth probaly has nothing to do with the eventual decision. A distraction from the real considerations.
  18. I think the club also know he's gone but it was agreed by all parties to not announce it until the end of year. It's not in the clubs or jesses interests to play the year with that info public. the line "delay till after season" has been used to get us to trade week where a deal will be done without the media drama of a season out committing to leave the MFC. tjeres no way MFC haven't at this stage put their best offer forward. Thats the point that the "he's staying" camp conveniently gloss over
  19. I firmly believe he is gone. A massive loss but no point worrying about it. his father is ill and has been poorly for some time. Money can't compete with that. It was clear in his presser a month ago that the questioning on this topic made him uncomfortable. Only the people refusing to accept it couldnt see the way he mumbled those answers. there is no advantage to him delaying the contract. The CBA excuse is baloney. theres no way Melbourne havent offered massive coin and a long term so what else is there to discuss that is so far poles apart that it had to be postponed. Further to that, if MFC have offered everything they can and Jesse still postponed , we'll connect the dots guys. You would delay talks for a year over contractual technicalities. hes gone,
  20. i was called a troll the other day for thinking he was gone . i cant see how you could see it any other way. people will refuse to see it but watch his training presser again. the discomfort he had at that line of questioning was palpable. he has put off talks. CBA excuse is bollocks, lynch just resigned as have many others. if he didnt want distractions then he wouldve wanted to be signed up before the season starts, he misses Perth. connect the dots
  21. unlike some others I dont think its the end of the world if he leaves. it would be better if he stays but I dont see it as trolling to say i think he will leave. Its the reality of modern AFL football.
