Tore Gary Pert a new one ,then Mick Gayfer. In the footage you can see Pert is actually afraid of him. His celebrations were fantastic to behold-a nice "Yugoslavian" style fist pump ,usually directed at the crowd or his opponents face. Decent long kick and a nice straight lead for a mark which meant he could hit up the ball. Helped that we had Lyon feeding him perfect passes.

He was an absolutely freakish talent. Like a fat Ablett with a mullet. The last of the great unprofessionals.

I'm a massive fan. Jetta,Watts and Gawn are three blokes who I've always backed to come good.

We got into trouble by pursuing a real youth policy that left us with little on field leadership. Then we compounded the error of sacking Jnr after his best ever year. After the backlash ,we took on Byrnes ,Gillies and Rodan . The genius of Roos is his ability to re-launch a career in the 25-30 year old range. Garlett,H,Vince. I think Brisbanes list is pretty good compared to Carlton ,but they are not playing for each other or listening to the coach. To the credit of Schwab,Cuddles and Bailey ,we gave youth a chance to prove themselves . Sometimes we picked the wrong ones but at least we didn't get old champs over to cover our lack of class.

Serviceable is not really a knock. he has had some average games also. my main criticism is his leg speed,which at 33 is naturally diminishing. It is more evident when we get thrashed and you see an opponent run away from him but at least he still chases. Good judge of a mark. I hope his form stays strong also.

He has been serviceable since being moved back. Absolutely no impact in the middle. Let's not get carried away. Perhaps he should play next year and be picked on form alone. ideally, he will be replaced by someone much faster.

The only frustration with Garlett is that we don't have more like him.

Parliament - Bishop out

Anyone can start a podcast and put it live to air. I will be happy to get one organised for 2016 . We could have Melbourne centric commentators but we don't necessarily need a "big" name ,in fact it would be better if we didn't. The one I envisage will be for adults only, of course,and actually be funny and informative. Umpire abuse allowed,swearing allowed,insults allowed.i.e comedy allowed. I will be drawing from Demonland for "talent" and yes,I use the word loosely.
