Coverage of the draft is poor unless you have fox footy. No draft tracker online or running video commentary like they had for the boys. Just a slow updating draft blog. Edited. Slightly better coverage happening on the fly

It's interesting that the Zanker trade hasn't been officially listed on the AFLW draft page with numerous other trades appearing on there that were announced after this. Probably a clerical thing but perhaps still some haggling over draft picks?

AFLW need to get serious and make these car arrangements included in their salary cap.

I don't begrudge Zanker leaving. She has given us great service over many years and has stated she loves the club. Has been a joy to watch. Plus she ran through Birch and let her know about it in the prelim. Legend. We should have got more at the trade table for her but that's on the club.

Pick 1 has already been traded to Richmond. We could make a play for their GC's now pick 4 as they would presumably still need points. Adelaide may end up with a stronger hand for that pick though.

Speaking of Todd Patterson, is it known who has taken over the role of AFLW list manager?

Unrelated but I'm pretty sure Molly O'Hehir remains out of contract. Would be a huge blow to lose her. Fingers crossed we see a re-signing announcement soon.
