I'd like to see him have at least one more game, ideally a couple more, to see if he adjusts to the pace of AFL. His first full game in nearly 2 years against a top 2 team in a comp. Had 2 howlers but otherwise used it relatively well, the main howler being the one where he stopped, propped and shanked the inside 50 kick when accompanied by JvR on the half forward line. Was almost too sharp with his hands where the receiving player wasn't clean and that knock on that almost resulted in a goal was clever. Probably should have had that shot at goal as well when he received that hand pass at the top of the 50. I didn't think Sharp was going to turn out into the player he is becoming so I'm willing to give Laurie more of a chance and I think the kid needs confidence with a run of games. Having said that, he will need to improve considerably to cement himself in the side.
