They are likely to use a third selection, with their pick in the 30s expected to slightly come in on the second draft night. If small forward Latrelle Pickett is available he would be expected to be snapped up, but he is set to be gone by then. Other plays they have looked at include small forward Talor Byrne and goalkicker Oskar Ainsworth, while Tai Hayes is also another they have done their work on. Farrow or Sharp? Edit: just realised that the slide may not even be related to Hawthorn. Could be any club in the middle of the first round. Edit 2: West Coast could be very keen to get up from 13 to 8 to take Farrow if available. 8 for 13 and future 2nd?

Perhaps the thought of us trading with Adelaide may spook essendon into taking Sharp first. We probably need to throw something back towards Adelaide and as it stand we don't have a future 2nd. 2027 2nd maybe? Probably unlikely. Should be a good draft for small forwards next year with Prasad, Neocleous and Templeton all looking like great prospects. Jack Pickett had a great year as a bottom aged Key Forward.

I think people will get hyped if there appears to be a realistic chance he makes it to us.
