  1. You call supporters who are vocal about our performance keyboard warriors. You suggest that a bloke being honest about his insights into what is going on at the club has low character for threatening to make those misgivings public. I dont know the first thing about you mate, but ive paid my hard earned for many years for this club and all I hear lately from inside sources suggests that the club may have some level of internal disfunction that is hamstringing the player's performance. i wouldnt mind knowing about that if its true and I wouldnt mind it being rectified if it is true so that we can move on from it. I think every paying member has a right to hear what might be going on at the club to explain the performance on sunday. Simple as that. So basically i view anyone who suggests that supporters whinging as being a 'keyboard warrior' is a load.
  2. and your continually apologist attitude makes me think your happy with our round 1 performance.
  3. Some complete overreactions in this thread. hells gate could be anyone - could be Caro for all we know
  4. My take - based on bits and pieces from this sight, word of mouth and a few other things - could all be BS but HG can clarify. Something big went down before 186. Players acted and were basically ignored. Players werent and perhaps still arent happy. Compounded by tanking pressure (which Lynden Dunn in particular was uncool with) and the sacking of James McDonald and Robbo. Players think 'oh well, we dont matter and are expendable so ill just take my pay cheque and do enough.' neeld comes in and basically goes hard and peels the pain off the walls. neeld plays player against player. Players dont really get all the new structures and are still smarting from the above.
  5. That attitude is probably an accurate description of how some thing to be honest. But I dont blame them entirely. 186 is still raw.
  6. I have an inside source via a golf club and while he hasnt said as much, he said things were tense.
  7. hells gate I dont think many would say your brother is one of problems - or even a minor one for that matter. We all know Col on his day can play. More like the actual bizarre structures given to the backs had them at times just standing there like witches hats away from their opponents. Watching the footage (I didnt go to the game due to a cold) it was clear they were being asked to do some odd things and didnt seem happy about it.
  8. Id love to read the full story mate. Blind freddy (LOL) could tell that there is something SERIOUSLY wrong behind the scenes here. Whether Neeld has lost the players or the players hate their bosses and cant be bothered its not really clear, but im looking forward to hearing where my hardearned is going...
  9. Im glad some of our supporters are ok with failure and mediocrity...
  10. I agree - Frawley showed little leadership in that chase.
  11. Watch that video and then compare it to the early days of Trengove under Bailey. I hope there is method in this madness but the videos suggest we have gone WAY backwards.
  12. These types of threads tempt fate. He looked awesome and he did when i saw him outplay AFL players at Casey last year. But dont jinx him by pointing it out - its our only hope other than big hoges!
  13. You can look at this two ways. Firstly if you dont want to be abused by supporters then stay off social media. Alternatively, there is passion in that response. It obviously hit a nerve. The players are hurting.
  14. MN: you'd almost think there is more to coaching an AFL side than time trials around the 'tan...
  15. Scathing but apparently accurate. Lets see if the players can prove it wrong on saturday night... insipid losers.
  16. We have so many needs - which one do you choose - some class, run and disposal (which we dont have) or another in-and-other mid to back up Jones and Viney (who is too young to have a massive impact yet). Wines is built like a brick shithouse as well.
  17. i thought it was interesting who was in the leadership group this year - Frawley, Byrnes, Garland, Grimes, Trenners, Clark, Dawes, Jones and McKenzie - how many of those players showed leadership in the one arena where it REALLY counts yesterday? Id say 3 and that is beind kind.
  18. Exactly! That is my point. rather than feeding off that confidence they look at it as a threat...
  19. He'd have to be up there wouldnt you think? In a losing side? I guess there are a few other contenders.
  20. Im kinda blown away that its down to him to not only perform but also motivate the side as an 18 year old. I know of at least one listed player who told a friend he thought jack was full of himself. that player should turn around and have a look at what Jack Viney brings to the table and emulate 30% of it.
