Dean Kent and to a lesser extent Evans were why I was excited preseason - both and Kent in particular showed heaps - ball magnet, good disposal and run. All the things we miss - yet we persist with players that clearly are very out of form... Every week I read the team list and shudder - more semi-useless talls in a side with no functioning midfield, 1 inside mid and no spread. its a joke.

I know from a close friend that at laest until recently Hogan was loving the demons. he looks up to Jones in particular. We need to keep this bloke - he looks as exciting as Scott Thompson did at the start.
-
Sure they arent banned, But there will be another investigation, more undermining of the club. its bad news and it will drag on.

these muppets have ruined this club!

I told you guys the curse was real...

omg!

we just dont want to win - keep picking all these talls and meanwhile have no spread or functioning midfield...

Will the club deny the rumour that Brett Ratton is in the mix if we lose on sunday?

LOL - Buddy went for the dees as a kid but so did Judd... -
he might have been injecting cement to help with tanking?

Its madness - he easily in our best 22 - when he finally gets a game he will show it to. And that is a guarantee. Its like the football department dont want to win - keep picking lots of talls when we have no spread or functioning midfield.

A blind monkey can see from NAB cup that Dean Kent was in our best 22. Strauss can kick.

At what point does this become unacceptable?

I just sit here trying to work out when it was that we became this bad. -
You watch the footage of the third quarter and where the defenders are and what they are doing. It is disappointing.

Dean Kent is due and has done more than enough.

It wont change much. You might see the end of Mark Neeld potentially. Whether it will make a difference... -
Tommy Mac - Our Best Down Back
Norm Smith's Curse replied to Mongrel Dee's topic in Melbourne Demons
He had a crack, created some run out of the back half when no one else did and he is YOUNG! -
I think your right - Neeld should have been more open about the fact that we were picking up talls like Hogan for later when (hopefully) we have a functioning midfield. In other words 'dont expect improvement yet people'. Looking back when we got rid of Moloney for what ever reason we should have been seriously considering who else was going to be an inside mid or were we so confident in Viney we expected him to dominate from round 1? Jones cant do it alone.
-
Exactly so true - outside mids are wasted when we have no insiders and cant win a tap out.
-
because Frawley wasnt up to either apparently.

When he said 'the hardest team to play against' i didnt realise he meant out of guilt. -
He will be a gun. But i think that playing him now will do more damage than good - give him some time and confidence in the seconds.
-
Enjoy GWS Jack Viney and Jesse Hogan... Mark Jamar, Colin Garland, james Frawley, Jimmy Toumpas need a rest in the seconds. Simple as that. Nothing personal but did not do enou

Now I know why Chris Dawes had a 'I dont want to be here' look on his face in the Demons membership booklet for 2013.
