just heard on 3aw that bailey said that newton had a knee injury than did his hammy, but he will be back at sandy next week. Hopefully he gets his chance in the senior side soon

i think we will be fine with the eagles, but freo, they are getting on my nerves with their "poor" last quater efforts. Essendon are definately tanking, i mean that president guy or whoever gave it away with the axeing of peverall and then the coach comes out and tells him off for telling the public. But essendon would be in better hands if they picked up rich, considering they don't have much of a midfield NAITA FOR DEES IN 08'

i dunno where to add this, but if we win less than 4 games this season and the same next year, will we get a priority pick( no. 1) or will the gold coast team get it?

With so many retirees and many of them being great, wouldn't it be great if we could pick up the likes of Hird Or Ricciuto as assistant coaches. They would defineatley have a lot to offer, and with some of the rumours i have heard, i hope we can pick up one of these champions.

i reckon nath jones should win, he has put in all the hardwork and effort this season and has stood up for the team. it is only his second year, and there isn't much else you could expect from him

in all seriousneess we gotta rebuild again, it's pretty easy to see. Our spine at the moment isn't gonna get us anywhere. We gotta trade off our 'gun' players and look to improve with pace,rucks,kpp. If we get anything decent for robbo, we should take it, or else he'll be facing the same fortune as he has for the last 10 years.

sylvia,newton,bartram. I reckon these boys will lift next season, especially sylvia if he gets that pre season under his belt.

its a pretty tough decision with all these guys but i have to choose mclean because of his leadership, though i reckon sylvia has got it. But all these guys have the potential to become stars, my smoky is petterd and i reckon he could be vice captain behind brock. Also you guys need to get off CJ's back, you need to let him prove himself like sylvia. How much oppurtunity has CJ had to sylvia. Cj needs more game time to adjust to the pace of afl and i'm sure he will prove himself throughout the rest of the season.

we should be getting a priority pick this season, and we should aim next season for one. It sounds ludicrous, but i think we need to rebuild out list. This also means we need to trade players like bruce and green.

yep, it would be awesome if vossy was our coach, he is a great person and i have great respect for what he has done over his career. There are a lot of positives with vossy and if anyone can take us to a flag, it's him, but if he doesn't make it we will still get draft picks to build our list.

we need #1 ruckman to develop #2 pacey midfielder #3 maybe another big kpp in defence We really need another ruckman, we are still unsure about neaves and the rest of our rucks aren't top notch.

A realistic option we could take to get our list on track is to win a maximum of 2 more games this season, so we get a priority pick. Wallsy is right, we need to trade off players like TJ,Green and bruce because they won't get their chance at a flag if they stick with us. We have a great bunch of youngsters at the club, and if we also bomb out next year, hopefully with our new coach, that means we will have 2 top 5 picks. I am sure by than we will have a great list, with the other youngsters we have now matured. It's painful, but i'm willing to go through it. For the rest of the season, it is easy to see, that we need to blood the youngsters, give em a go and let them show us what they are made of. I am sure CJ has the ability to make it in the afl, he needs to be given more game time and get used to the pace of afl. or else we are just going to lose another player like jolly, arma and simmonds

I reckon Vossy is our man, we should go for him or else he'll be lured to some other crappy club.

if i was a ricky, i woulda done the same thing. jeez if the game is over and your doing the best for your team unlike some other players, what's the point of even turning up on the night. i can only wish that ND is gone and hope to see ricky shine in the future for the red and blue
