Being able to use pick first two picks on kids, getting Viney with pick 20 something is the only thing that is going to bring a smile to my face in the season from hell!

At the end of the day we have so much "dead wood" to disgard, I think Cook and Gysberts will be safe. They have potential- and whilst potential is seen as some as a dirty word, we owe it to ourselves to give them a shot at actually making it. Thus far they haven't had that shot through injuries and under-developed bodies. Minimum contracts for both. Delistings are easy enough to work out without having to trawl through unproven kids. I still have high hopes for these two.

We really need to lose to GC and have them beat GWS to be in with a chance of Viney 2nd round. The sad thing is it could actually happen!

I would keep him around for one more year, plenty of others to cut first. He can go next year. Good to have someone on field who puts his body on the line and on his day can provide a forward target. Yeah, big proven FF don't become available too often, and when they do a bidding war ensues. So the price was always going to be a big one- especially considering the way we are percieved by other clubs (heck even we percieve our team as shite) Cloke at melbourne and our forward line problem is fixed overnight. Can concentrate on mids only in the draft. We need players with skill at the club, don't be fooled by his recent shitty form, the kid can play.
