Edit- there is a formula in place that deals with compo based on things we will qualify for. How could the AFL change that at their own discretion?

You have to be aggressive though without sacrificing everything. It's called strategising- using what you have for maximum gain. You don't just throw out 2 high picks for one good player when they can get you at least a couple of players we need.

We'll then they can lose him for the lousy compo the AFL will give them next year then if they're going to be greedy idiots. I love Patty, but 2 & 3 is overs considering how those picks can be played in a market looking for a strong forward.

Pick 2 I'd trade to a club that wants a forward for a player and a first round pick- maybe bulldogs. Or I'd take Brayshaw.
