Trying to find that fine line between appearing to be the disciplinary authoritive figure they should be, and being heavy handed enough to keep the competition running smoothly, and WADA at bay, takes time I'd imagine. Just de-register the drug fiends so we can dance and [censored] on their grave already, FFS

Where's Fitzy at?
-
Toumpas just needs to find it more, an injury uninterrupted season or two and he might be able to change that. I can see he wants to take the game on, and he has great foot skills, so I'm willing to back him in.
-
I can go either way in this one; if he stays that's good, but if he goes I think we'll get overs for him and we can use it to help us get something more useful for our midfield.

So if these parasites are allowed to train, how fair is it for the first team they play against when the suspensions are lifted? They will be as fresh and fit as any team could possibly be- facing a team that does not have the same fresh legs. And what if that team that gets them first up is in touch of the 8 and it's a crucial match.

I watched most of the game through my neighbours window from inside my house, so not the best viewing if I'm being honest, but I was going to post today that I saw some encouraging signs from Toumpas- went when it was his turn and tried to take the game on but obviously lacks some confidence, or experience. I'm not writing off yet.

Kiss of death? Didn't the Meatloaf fiasco teach them anything?
Jesse Christ replied to hardtack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Kiss is irrelevant, all the old dad rock bands are just remainders of a by gone era- nobody listens to that crap anymore. You want someone who will get you world wide exposure and put you on par witht what they are trying to emulate (America), get One Direction, Miley or even the beibs in and millions of ppl worldwide will have a look, if only to see their idols. -

How about ANY artist born post 1980? What is this obsession the AFL has with ageing has-beens? -
No chance. Without sounding too dramatic, the integrity of sport world-wide will be put into jeopardy if these cheating scum are able to get off Scott free. It will send the message that sporting organisations can dope their players up to the eye-balls, conveniently destroy evidence, and walk away with no more than a wrap on the knuckles. Obviously AFL care for the AFLs ends. The AFL is nothing in the grand scheme of things and Essendrug will be pulverised accordingly.

Training - Wednesday 4th March, 2015 @ Fremantle Oval
Jesse Christ replied to McQueen's topic in Melbourne Demons
judging by his highligts on the Melbourne website, he would be wasted as a "gorilla keeper", I recon he could own the loose man in defence role. Or I don't mind him delivering it into the forwards either. -
Don't ruin my joke 3 boomerangs!

Why did they re-sign him for 2 years and send him off to France? This whole thing is fishy. Stuff still doesn't seem logical.

You'd be pretty brave to show your avatar around here if you are wrong- the rabid cyber townsfolk will want you're skin!
-
I just want the hammer to fall already! When will they be shipped off to Nusa Kambangan? Are the jets fuelled yet?
-
why does one need to sign a waiver form if everything is above board? This case, at its simplest, is an organisation trying to be too smart by half, shifty, and dishonest, but have been caught out in the most spectacular of ways. When all is said and done they will be hanging on to survival by a thread. Reputation shattered. Couldn't have happened to a more smug, morally corrupt and deserving mob!
-
0 and 7 will be catastrophic!

I'm just busting balls, like it makes a lick of difference whose mug is on the banner. It looks good, a little over-crowded but good

While we persist with Spencer, we persist with King.

Well we can be certain there is no proof exonerating the players because if there is then it would have been bought forward by now. We would have seen this play out in the courts like any regular prosecution vs defendant case. Instead we have an organisation arguing the legality of an investigation. This crap would have been over a long time ago. What are they waiting for to show this evidence? Their reputation competition standing to hit rock bottom? It just makes no sence
-
Smoke is all that's needed here. Imagine if these cheats get off- the ramification for the integrity for all sports world wide would be massive! You would have teams pushing the boundaries taking borderline legal substances- safe in the knowledge that if they destroy evidence, or don't keep records, they are in the clear. Can not happen. Will not happen.
