  1. What do we do, do we go for Dawes and wait for midfield to mature, or do we go for a midfielder and wait for our forward line to mature? Cos we need an experienced mid and a big forward. The fact that we have such an efficient forward line and such a pooey midfield sways me in the way of taking a mid. But who's available? It's all just too confusing.
  2. Trade for Goddard? You bet your sweet arse we should trade for Goddard. Both compo picks and a swap of first round picks. I would do it in a heart beat!
  3. I couldn't give a rats toss-bag!

  4. Petterd's a keeper for mine. Chases, does the team thing and never squibs it. We need someone like Dawe's for our forward line, no one can dispute this. I'd give up pick 12, bit I'm struggling to figure out what we could give them that we have excess of, and they'd want.
  5. LOL!! I didn't realise the 70's were thatsexually liberated!
  6. I think all that meth's getting to your head.
  7. And yet he doesn't get games. What does that tell you? Your post could have been written by a Warnock hater and it would have served the same purpose. Warnock isn't up to it. Club knows it, I know it, fans know it. Hopefully we can get something for himout of desperation from a club that thinks he might fill a hole for them.
  8. I'm pretty sure lawyers don't say "BOOM, lawyered"
  9. Barely 10 minutes in and a pubic hair joke. Record?
  10. Neeld isn't pulling any punches! Lovin' it!
  11. I lol'd at that thread. You could see their little hearts breaking right in front of you. I do feel a bit bad for them though. Although their rough patches make ours look like nothing at all! They have just lost their assistant coach now. When it rains it poors. God they are in the [censored]! Now we can say no matter how bad things get at the dees- there will always be the off season specialists- St Kilda.
  12. I have no problem with offering 30 year olds one year contracts. I'm of the train of thought that if you are good enough, you will be offered another year- and if you're not good enough, well you have pretty much screwed the club out of money it could have used elsewhere- and also denying a young guy of AFL games. An honorable 30 year old would sign the one year contract and let his actions do the talking. Not his manager. But I am "an all for the club" fascist. I place progress over charity.
  13. If anyone doesn't perform this year for any reason other than injury they will find themselves on the outer quick smart! Whilst we are discussing mediocrity here's a topical hot potato (spud)- Michael Newton. Any (3rd) chance this hack could turn things around under Neeld? Maybe he can play the role of the big KF we are seeking. He is not necessarily skillful but we can plant him deep and let our other forwards feed off his semi-retarded attempts at getting it?
  14. I don't know anything about the guy but from what all you guys are saying it sounds like a good get! Where are all the Melbourne bashers who said we are too passive and are therefore weak and amateuristic ? How do you like them apples? Looks like we are rebuilding this sinking ship after all. Very excited!
  15. Rivers done the nervous Green laugh. BTW, the Green rumour on the rumour thread was a fake. Some silly biatch thought she could get a laugh out of it. Said biatch now has a bad conscience over that. Sorry lads. I got a laugh over it if it's any consolation...
  16. I was taking the mickey... when I posted it the sub heading was "real or fake rumours..." and now it's not there my comment doesn't have the same context. My conscience has gotten the better of me now. It was fun watching everyone get their knickers in a knot over the Green comment though. For the record- nobody actually said he shouldn't be re-signed. Jumping at shadows at it's best lol!
  17. The new site is awesome Demonland!
  18. I'm tipping Sully gets no votes. On a separate note, how kick arse is the new site!
  19. Lenny Hayes. Obviously. 2010 St Kilda best and fairest. Hard as nails. Creates play. Goddard and Roo are important to the structure no doubt- but we're talking about most important. And I think it's obvious the impact Hayes' absence from St Kildas line up early on as they lost a lot of matches. Most important is subjective anyway.
  20. Good point. Unfortunately many of our players go missing. On your criterea McKenzie springs to mind as a good onfield leader. Probably too young though. I like the next posters Jamar suggestion. Really can't explain why he never gets considered. Anyone have any theories on that? Ruckmen get overlooked?
  21. I get bored and seeing as most of my friends are female- they know nothing of football! Thought I would take the opportunity to talk to some like minded people for once. Sue me!
  22. I didn't understand why you referred to me as "Crackers," I interpreted as your way of being patronizing towards me.. There is no doubt Wonna is important as he fills a hole better than anyone else can- but a small forward will never be a teams most important player. Look at Milne. Arguably the best small forward this year, but not St Kilda's most important player. Their most important player spent the whole year on the sidelines, and I believe they suffered for it.
  23. Crackers? I think the most important are those that lead by example. Those that can read the play, those that create the play (not finishers) and those that inspire. Most importantly- those that are playing more often than not. I know it's unfair to judge Wonna on his attendance record, but it matters. For someone who knew his opinion was going to attract some criticism, you sure seem a little defensive when someone questions you on it.
  24. Experience son. Work and excel with all types and soon enough your own leadership abilities will shine through.
