  1. 100 percent all of the above. And you are right @BoBo, the above is brief. But does attempt to deal with the phenomena at a high level. To support the above observations, research confirms that: about 1 percent of the general population are psychopathic this figure rises to 3.9 percent in the workplace population most of the psychopaths in the workplace are in senior management positions. The AFL employs around 2000 people. That means about three (3) in every club on average (allowing a percentage at head office as well). If we were to include the media, the figures would zoom up exponentially I would have thought.
  2. Top post @dino rover. There is a significant body of research supporting the Dunning-Kruger effect, which describes how individuals with low ability in a particular domain often overestimate their competence. Recent studies delve deeper into this phenomenon, suggesting that the most dangerous person in any organisation may be the one who is both incompetent and unaware of their incompetence. This combination can lead to overconfidence, poor decision-making, and an inability to recognize or correct errors, potentially causing significant harm to the organisation and its stakeholders.
  3. I believe we need a review I have reviewed the Club over the last three weeks I recommend a review.
  4. How did the women's side go?
  5. I was the assistant manager of Coles New World in Croyden back in the '80s @hardtack.
  6. Tom relieves himself way too often for my liking.
  7. I recon we should all kid ourselves - even just for one night @Demons11. It's been an intense fortnight.
  8. Canberra—just like this thread. Endless debates that go absolutely nowhere!
  9. Actually I just realised there's nothing to worry about @KLV. I've just heard a rumor that the Bears are after JVR and putting up that big game player Hipwood as the trade bait.
  10. What’s that clicking and clacking echoing through the high-rises on Collins Street tonight? Oh, nothing to worry about . . . Just the lawyers orchestrating their symphony of billable hours.
  11. In all seriousness, you can't be serious?
  12. Yeah - just like that useless Sidebottom and Dangerfield. Fancy building a team around them to push towards a flag.
  13. Reminds me of the "robust, full and frank exchanges" we used to have in the right wing factional meeting of the Queanbeyan branch of the Labor party. It was the second Monday of the month in the basement of the Queanbeyan Library. Someone generally left with a broken nose.
  14. What am I to do with the 40 hours just freed up next week?
  15. 10 years on and he's my favourite player in the comp outside of the Deez. Love him to bits. if he was with us in '23, we win the flag.
  16. I wonder if Goody would vote for Grundy?
  17. Wow - didn't know that. Pretty much explains everything.
  18. Jacko and Failmantle had a prime chance to be the feel-good story of the comp this weekend, but they completely blew it. Jackson should have been wise to this mob's history. A place good footballers go to die.
  19. I'm hoping they lock the stadium gates at quarter time and throw away the keys.
  20. Unlike others on this site, Billy is doing a good job of not being a hero.
  21. The chaos ball, if used wisely (i.e. not Melbourne), still works amazingly well.
  22. I'm no dooma or glooma - but the sooner we rocognise that it's all the fault of Lawry and Jeffo - the sooner we can resurrect our dynasty. Written with due diffidence to Weed and Watts.
  23. Is dumbo still a thing?
  24. So long as he/she/they/them address the messianic complex of 'Landers for six months, they will have satisfactory fulfilled a key KPI.
