  1. Best recent decision by the Pies was to trade out Jack 'my shorts are too big because I've got a little *&(#@) Ginnivan. They woke up to the nightmare before most footy followers. Wouldn't mind betting Sidey and Pendles had their fingerprints all of that.
  2. That's actually his problem.
  3. Don't get me started on bum-slapping framed as innocent team bonding when it's ultimately about unconsciously upholding norms that marginalise emotional diversity and reinforce homophobic boundaries under the guise of unity. 🤣
  4. Good get @whatwhat say what . We also had the BIG Moore, the BIG Carl, the BIG Baker, the BIG Crackers, the BIG Strawb. Rich heritage.
  5. I'm going to run out of hats this trade season.
  6. He certainly does. Three years with us have assured that.
  7. And any league that doesn't have two OMacs running around in then CAN'T BE SERIOUS.
  8. If Cream is the answer, I can’t even begin to imagine the question.
  9. Turn it up @Anti-Saint . Can you just remind me again. When did Friter last chase down an oppo player and win a free kick? And I do not understand what you’re saying about JVR. Not joking @DiscoStu17 . And please don’t call me Shirley.

  11. Yes. And don’t call me serious.
  12. Great to see we’re dropping 205 games of experience and replacing them with 49—courtesy of three players who wouldn’t crack the 22 at most clubs this week. And two of the three are the wrong ones. If I’m JVR, I’m calling my manager tonight.
  13. When I first read @VoiceOfReason 's post, I thought, “Bit harsh on Andy @Demonland —no need to throw in the IQ dig just because the upgrade didn’t go smoothly.” But then I saw his follow-up about potentially libellous comments… and suddenly the sharp tone made a bit more sense. 🫥
  14. FFS sake - ease up on Brad Green. A great of the club and has been nothing but a decent Melbourne person for 30 years. Came onto the Board when it was suing each other and accepted the presidency when the two that preceeded him were doing their best to destroy the joint. Made the lawyers go away - removed the toxic CEO and is now lumped with a premiership coach who can't read the room. The guy has been surrounded by psychos and many want to pot him. Amazing
  15. They are long term issues. One flag in 60 years says so.
  16. I have the highest paid subscription level to chatGPT I asked it to aggregate Simon's cliques over the last 12 months I fair dinkum broke it Came back with a response like that of Robot from Lost in Space - "does not compute" Dead set life imitating art.
  17. It's what the letter doesn't say that says everything. I would say that negotiations with Simon are at an advanced stage.
  18. Referring to the Demons’ "brains trust" at 0-5 is like calling a flat tire high-performance—optimistic at best, delusional at worst.
  19. So glad we have another thread about Simo the Dymo.
  20. We lost it on September 15, 2023.
  21. Hope he doesn't fumble. 😉
  22. Me too @rjay. A few times in '78, once in '82, '85, '87, and '89 respectively, once or twice in the 90s, a bad year in '98, but pretty much a perfect record since then.
  23. James Jordan - still no spatial awareness.
  24. With a touch of divine intervention, I'll strive to embrace the reality that 2021 was a black swan event in the modern history of the Melbourne Football Club—and, indeed, in my own life. As normal transmission seems to have resumed, I must reconcile with the misplaced trust and emotional turbulence that have shadowed me for half a century. But I refuse to dwell on regret or shut the door on the past. Instead, I’ll reflect, take the learnings, get to work, and find the resilience to move forward with the passion and (forlorn) hope that define every true Demon supporter.
