  1. Appreciate your commitment @Skuit. Means I can do some paid work this morning. My employer passes on their thanks as well.
  2. must have a shoooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrt memory.
  3. 12 noon - lunch time and QD jumps on 'Land for a Trac update. 12:05pm - QD applies for four hours personal leave.
  4. Thanks for the tip-off @John Demonic. Best short summary of the whole situation I've read.
  5. I wouldn’t have your job this week for all the coffee in Melbourne. Honestly, I'd rather wrestle a croc in a bathtub! Hang in there - you're the ringmaster in a partially out of control circus. You have my support Bro.
  6. I was making the point to other posters. But I concede it is a little ambiguous and opaque. My point was to support you - not make fun.
  7. Hi Andy, I’ve gone through all your directives in this thread, but I’m still a bit unclear. Are you emphasising that it’s crucial we avoid naming or blaming private individuals on this platform? Because if that’s what you’re saying, then I’m understanding it to mean that it’s essential not to name or blame private individuals here. Please confirm if that’s correct. Thanks, qd
  8. Greed???
  9. Who's Trac?
  10. You're band from 'Land effective immediately then @Chook.
  11. I feel for paper bags - they get a bad wrap much to regularly.
  12. We might as well rebrand as a Legal Firm. Given all the lawsuits, we could rebrand as "Demons & Associates: Specialising in Hits and Legal Claims." Or how about "Red & Blue Legal Crew—We Fight On and Off the Field"? Either way, we have a solid case for being in the most legal loop holes in the comp!
  13. What a wonderful cricketer @The Jackson FIX. Imagine if he'd played 100 tests fully fit. But breaking in half and falling down one of the wide cracks that were opening up in the pitch can really do crazy things to a fast bowlers mind.
  14. Have you read my biography?
  15. Wow wee. Golly gosh. Seriously.
  16. Christian Petracca’s ‘brand’—yeah, it’s like he’s selling bottled charisma at the local supermarket. All this talk about ‘brand’ is just drivel, though—since when did being a gun AFL player require personal branding? It’s football, not a fashion label! Last I checked, goals don’t care about your social media presence.
  17. You're right about that. It's the first ten seasons plus the telemovie.
  18. I've only got one word . . . Gary Buckenara.
  19. I absolutely love your idea @Skuit. But it falls down in one area. Such a strategy would require a level of execution that is far beyond anyone involved in the AFL. They're just not that smart.
  20. Pretty much all workplaces are toxic @Ethan Tremblay. The data is unambiguous on this. He won't find Carltank any less toxic - just the hue of the toxicity will be different.
  21. Jacko and Failmantle had a prime chance to be the feel-good story of the comp this weekend, but they completely blew it. Jackson should have been wise to this mob's history. A place good footballers go to die.
  22. I'm hoping they lock the stadium gates at quarter time and throw away the keys.
  23. Unlike others on this site, Billy is doing a good job of not being a hero.
  24. The chaos ball, if used wisely (i.e. not Melbourne), still works amazingly well.
  25. I'm no dooma or glooma - but the sooner we rocognise that it's all the fault of Lawry and Jeffo - the sooner we can resurrect our dynasty. Written with due diffidence to Weed and Watts.
